As promised this product really does a good job in keeping my blades sharp

This item arrived on time and is as described by the seller. I purchased this sharpener to help keep all my garden tools sharp and ready to go. It works great.

Great product. Small, sharpens your knives perfectly (just cut my finger yesterday), and overall, very happy with this product.

Sharpening pruning shears, pocket knives

This sharpener is the bomb! I never have to buy another pair of nail clippers again. Instructions did not come with the sharpener, but I found some on supersharpknives.blogspot.com/2012/09/sharpening-nail-clippers-with-istor.html. I've also been able to sharpen a pair of small scissors that would otherwise have continued to dull. A feather light touch is all that is needed, so it is very easy to use.

This sharpener is perfect for doing clippers for vineyard work. Does not dull like most sharpeners, give a great edge.

I purchased the Istor Standard Sharpener to sharpen garden shears but soon discovered that is is one of the most useful sharpeners I have ever owned. I use it mostly in the kitchen keeping my cooking utensils and my swiss army knife razor sharp. A few swipes with it and you can keep an edge sharp for a long time without using a sharpening stone.

I can't rule out I'm doing something wrong but no matter how much I try, nothing seems to get super sharp.

Bisogna solo imparare a "sentire" il tagliente della lama quando lo si passa. Ho resuscitato coltelli che non tagliavano.Non calcare troppo e provare e riprovare per capire bene come tenerlo.Sta tutto nella manualità,non avendo un angolo fisso di affilatura.Il materiale credo sia VIDIA,un materiale molto duro che permette di affilare gli acciai essendo più teneri.Lo consiglio.

Das ist ja wohl der coolste Klingenschärfer den es gibt. Hab ihn von einem Hufschmied empfohlen bekommen. Jede Art von Klinge lässt sich bearbeiten. Man spührt förmlich, wie man Unebenheiten der Klinge abschabt und vor allem ist das Ergebnis beeindruckend. Um Klingen von Hand zu schärfen , muss man es eigentlich echt drauf haben, aber mit dem Teil hier kanns sogar der Laie. Sogar das Schlaufenmesser lässt sich damit schärfen. Das Teil ist handlich und jeden Cent wert. Meine Meinung: Äußerst empfehlenswert und man braucht nie wieder ein anderes Werkzeug zum Klingen schärfen.

Unersetzlich gut , habe meinen schon viele Jahre und diesen habe ich für einen Bekannten bestellt , der ebenfalls sehr begeistert ist .
