Fox Run Muffin and Cupcake Pan, 12 Standard Cup Stainless Steel Muffin Pan

Stainless steel is much safer than the teflon bakeware that is everywhere these days. I've kept my muffin tins looking new by using a stainless steel mesh scrubber to clean them. I think the instuctions advise against cleaning them with anything that might scratch, but i don't like burned on, built up residue on my bakeware. I've had these muffin tins for 5 yrs and they've help up great.

Worked perfectly for hatching my new Guinea banana snake eggs. One in each cup was the perfect diameter for incubation.

Got these for making egg bites. I’ve only previously had non stick muffin pans but as most of us know, the coatings on those are loaded with toxic chemicals. I was a bit skeptical to buy these because many reviews claimed they were flimsy but I didn’t find them to be flimsy at all. I was able to put them in the oven with one hand no problem and there was zero bending with the pan. They also didn’t lose form at all while baking which is often the case with pans made from aluminum. Great stainless steel option, especially for the price! Glad I got 2

Got this for a Christmas gift for my wife a few years back and she loves it! She has used it around the holiday season for a few years and it’s held up great! Buy once cry once. Good weight, bakes with ease, very scratch resistant, cooks food evenly. Very happy with it! Makes great muffins and cupcakes

I grew tired of scrubbing the rust out of my ancient Ecko muffin tins each time I used them. I have no use for my expensive silicon muffin pans because they don't do a good job of browning. So I went on a quest for stainless steel pans and came across this product. When a simple product like this has a polarized array of reviews (many 4 & 5 stars, quite a few 1 stars) the shopper is forced to evaluate the reviews themselves, judging the arguments and evidence offered by the reviewers. Turns out the unfavorable reviews of this muffin pan are mostly trigger-happy. They locked onto one or two pieces of evidence and jumped to a conclusion, you know, kind of like climate-change deniers. One doesn't even need to see the product to figure out that claims this is not solid stainless steel are utterly bogus. Turns out some stainless attracts magnets and some doesn't, so the magnet arguments carry no weight. And the manufacturer's unfortunate "stainless steel coating" description was just a poor choice of words, as they meant to draw a distinction between the _surface_ of this product and the surface of products that have a non-stick coating. Possibly the person who wrote the description is a non-native speaker of English, possibly just a careless writer. Which brings us down to the most legitimate concerns over this product. It is made in China, where manufacturers have not yet developed a reputation for integrity and modern health and safety practices. And one unfavorable reported an unpleasant odor when the pan was first heated up. I bought it anyway, washed it, and heated it in the oven for an hour before using it as bakeware. I can't prove it, but believe this two-step process removed any sketchy manufacturing residue. The final negative argument, ("the pan is light-weight") raises the question, "compared to what?" My husband picked it up and said, "Oh it's heavy!" It weighs 15 ounces. My rusty old Ecko pan weighs 13 ounces. When the pan arrived, I set aside everything and made cranberry-orange muffins. They browned nicely and were delicious. The two of us finished them off sooner than we should have.

I had a previous Fox Run Muffin and Cupcake Pan that was very high quality. This replacement shows that the company has sadly lowered their standards. Instead of being made of shiny, hefty stainless steel, I suspect this is some mixture of metals. The pan is not magnetic (as most stainless steel is), is not marked anywhere with the kind of designations ascribed to stainless steel (ie: "18/10" or "18/8") and the surface just looks like cheap gray metal to me. Edges were not as well engineered. Overall, a complete disappointment. I will be returning this pan and will not purchase anything from this company again. It's too bad -- I was so pleased with them years ago.

It’s so hard to find stainless steel muffin pans but these are perfect! A little pricey but I feel good knowing they are non toxic, non stick, and dishwasher safe (which is so convenient). I grease them with a little avocado oil before baking and my muffins pop out super easily. I’ll definitely be purchasing a second if this one holds up to the test of time, but I’m very hopeful it will!

Nicely made and does exactly what it says on the - ahem! - tin. I use mine with muffin/cupcake cases so I've never really had to wash it.

This stainless muffin pan is really good. The one I received does not have the lip around each muffin hole as it showed in the picture when I purchased, which is great because cleaning is easy! Have cleaned it in the dishwasher, no rust yet so I assume it is actual stainless steel.
