Don't know what I'd do without these
While I can't say I love this because it does drive me cuckoo having my finger restricted like it is while wearing it, that is not the fault of the product. It's doing it's job! It's just so frustrating to function with one finger unbendable. That said, I've been suffering with trigger finger (on my dominant hand) for a couple months now and unable to get to the doctor for it, so I don't know how I'd manage the pain if I didn't have this to help relieve it. It does help when I wear it, and there is a lot I can still do easily enough with it on. I'm actually on my second package because I do lose track of them often but they're a good investment for some relief. I've taken to wearing it overnight because it keeps me from waking up in pain and it's less frustrating than wearing it by day when I'm trying to function. Definitely glad I found these.

Easy to use and actually works!
I was suffering from trigger ring finger on my right hand. It was starting to hurt a lot in the morning as my finger would stay bent. After I found out about finger splint solution, I found Simply Seniors and gave it a try. I wasn’t expecting much to improve on my finger pain. But I was so surprised and relieved after using it for 3 nights and days when I finger pain started to reduce. Then I realized that it really works on trigger finger. This splint is easy to use and is comfortable too. Only issue I have is with Velcro getting lose after using it for few weeks. It does not stay on for long time now. But since there are 2 velcros in each splint, it is manageable. So I am happy with it. Main thing is it helps with trigger finger pain and keeps my finger straight all night.

It's helping!
Rather than going to a hand therapist I decided to do what the surgeon suggested after me nor surgery for Dupuytren in my ring finger. As it had been neglected by me for about five years, my finger was stuck at a 45° angle, I was surprised how simple corrective surgery was. Any way the staff recommended to me that once the bandages came off I should put my finger tips on the edge of a counter and put slight pressure downward to start stretching the tendon. This did help but you can't stand there forever and any stretching I did during the day went for naught while sleeping. Today I saw the physician's assistant for checkup and to question about this splint I bought for night wearing. She said excellent for all night and for idle time wear during the day. I'd b en wearing it for 3 nights already and I have to tell you it's giving remarkable results. In the morning when I remove it my finger is about 95% straight. Yes the tendon does pull back like the rubber band it is. But not nearly as much as the day the bandages came off. I feel with time my finger may stay at that 95% alignment instead of bending back to about 80%. I was told to remember to do flexure exercises making a fist several reps and several times a day to insure full movement. But the physician's assistant liked this finger splint.

Remove when washing hands.
The splint is very comfortable, compared to others. It has just enough rigidity so that you have partial use of the digit. However, the design using the Velcro is a problem. The Velcro straps tend to curl with usage, and you end up with the Velcro straps clinging to anything you touch. Also, the material at the tip of the splint gets worn with usage.

Works great just what I needed

They work!
Have a small hand and these fit nicely. I especially like the individual finger sleeves that you can put in the freezer. You slip one on and it cools the finger perfectly (arthritis flare). Then the sleeve warms up gradually so you do not over freeze/cool the finger too long. Just what is needed! The brace itself is a little long but this prevents me from jamming the finger. Arrives promptly and made well. Worth the money.

Comfy and supportive after a trim
Pretty comfortable overall and helping get my swollen finger, post-trigger-finger surgery, back to a relatively straight position again. The finger sleeves are nice for day wear and allow me to type pretty normally. Only issue is that the straps for both the top of the finger and the base are the same length. Whose finger is the same size at the tip as the base? The tip wrap had so much slack it kept catching on things and pulling loose, so I had to trim it myself. Not a big deal but it’s an extra step. (The manufacturer is seriously wasting material here...they could save enough by trimming a quarter inch off six or seven tip wraps to have a whole new base wrap.) Would recommend though... this is much better and more comfortable than the “custom” one my physical therapist made that cost me 150 bucks out of pocket after insurance! Also not a big deal but a bit irksome: marketing this with the brand name Simply Seniors and “ideal for seniors. I’m 48. I’m not a senior yet!
