Lepro Head Torch Rechargeable, 2 Pack 2000L LED Headlamp 30Hrs Runtime

I've had a couple of different head torches before now and they've been great, since I live at the bottom of a dark farmyard. They get a lot of use. This particular model is the best I've had to date because it's useability is well thought out. On most of these headlamps, you have to cycle through several modes before you get to the red light. On this one, it has it's own button. As I do astronomy and astrophotography, this is crucial as white light destroys your dark adapted eyes, whereas red does not. The right button is for white light and it's 4 modes are reached through 4 clicks. Spot > Bright Spot > Flood > Bright Flood. The left button only has red or red/green flashing. So 2 clicks : Red > Red/Green. The best bit is that once you reach the desired mode, it only takes one click to turn it back off again (given it's been on for about 10 seconds). With my last headlight I had to shut my eyes to click twice through white light to get red on the 3rd click, then shut my eyes again to cycle 2 more clicks to turn it off (as I said, to maintain dark adapted vision). I can finally get red light with 1 click and turn it off with 1 click. Same with white for normal use. Other than that, I find it's 1st click spotlight decent enough, the 2nd click spot is brighter and better. The flood though is barely bright enough for anything much on the 1st click. I use the 2nd click, brighter flood which is still only enough to see you're not about to bump into something. Floods aren't great, but the spot modes are good. It's comfy, adjustable, USB-C chargeable and holds a charge fairly well so far. The included USB-C cable has to be the shortest one I've ever seen, but hey. I got two good head torches for cheap!

This Lepro rechargeable head torch is an absolute gem! I’ve used it for camping, night walks with the dog, and a few DIY projects in dark corners, it never disappoints. The brightness is fantastic, with multiple modes that are easy to switch between depending on what you need. Great piece of kit, very bright with 3 or 4 different light options, usb charged, lasts hours. makes the dog walks in winter so much easier. Great value for 2 torches.

Great head lamp. Charges well, angle adjustment works well and stays in place, light level is sufficient. I can’t comment on durability yet but I’ve clocked a handful of running sessions in heavy rain already and the waterproofing seems to hold up well. The one gripe I have with this lamp is the size of the beam (I usually select the widest angle to have it directly in front of me when running in the dark) - it could be a little wider. Perhaps a future improvement idea. Otherwise great value for money.

Worth every penny, good quality and build (therefore durability) for the price. Adjustable strap for a good fit. Unable to comment on battery life as only just received the product,then fully charged before use walking the dog at night. The Red and Green lights double up as charging lights which is helpful. The feature I like the most is the lighting combination. Firstly apart from selection there is no need to cycle through all lighting possibilities after the original selection. Once the chosen light mode is in use the next press turns the light off without cycling through the other options. Plus all options interact together, eg select red (or red green flash) with a focused or wide beam white light, both can be turned of with a single click (no need to turn off individually). Portability wise it a head torch, adjust the strap and wear it.

You get two of these in a pack, and the head band is really strong and wide so it keeps the lamp tightly on your head without it hurting. The whole thing is way lighter than my old one and you barely know you've got it on. The lens is very easy to tilt using one hand and has quite a large range of tilt on it. You could easily use it to work on something on the desk right in front of you. The two buttons are rubberised so you can feel them easily and quickly while the light is on your head. Press the left one once for red light, and twice for red and green flashing light. I have no idea why red and green flashing, perhaps it's easy to see in the dark at a distance in an emergency? The red isn't very bright, but it is way more than bright enough to read a map, or compass, and I even found it fine for walking around my boat at night. (That's what I bought it for.) Bear in mind if you press once for red and leave it on red for any length of time, a second press actually turns the torch off. You only get flashing red and green if you press twice in succession. The right button is 1 press for dim spotlight, and dim is almost too bright to read a book by. A second press gives you bright spotlight and you could easily use this as a headlight for your bike. For me, I will be able to easily see when docking even in pitch black. A third press gives you dim flood light. This is wide enough and bright enough for a full size chart, or to read a newspaper, or to see an area like the bow when you're setting up an anchor at night. Walking at night in pitch black it would also be perfect for seeing your way along a path. A 4th press gives you full brightness flood light which is excellent. The difference between brightness of low and high spot is much greater than low and high flood. But high flood is more than enough for maybe walking the dog or inspecting your garden in pitch black. These are perfect to keep 1 in a draw downstairs and 1 upstairs in case of a power cut. Again, same as the left hand red light button, to get bright spot it's 2 presses, 3 for dim flood and 4 for bright flood. However if you light has been on 1 press -dim spot- for any length of time, 1 more press will simply turn it off. They come with two small USB C leads so you'll never be stuck for power. I love them already especially for the giveaway price.

Battery life is great in these, great price - we use them to walk our dog during the dark mornings and nights there are a few different settings, the brightest really does go so far I can keep track of him whilst off lead and see everything around him, even the less brighter setting is great for lightly lit up areas. The head srap is easy to adjust and stays in place, i have a tiny head and my husband larger and easily adjusts for both of us! I honestly have no complaints at all would absolutely reccommend!

Bought these to replace a torch that I lost (I only bought it late last year) which was 650 lumens-equivalent to 40 watts. The torch that I lost was very bright but I would question the claim that these are 2,000 lumens. Yes, these are brighter than my previous torch but not over three times the brightness. 2,000 lumens is equivalent to 125 watts, which would make these so bright that they would seriously dazzle anyone who caught a glimse directly in their eyes. Also the buttons controling the torch are a little too complicated. One press turns the light on low, the second press brings up full beam. The third, fourth and fifth presses turn on the "flood" feature which to be honest aren't worth bothering with. There is a red light feature. One press brings up the red light. The second press starts the light to flash red and green. Why red and green? I can't comment on battery life as I've only had these a few days and I only use them for work purposes-I drive off road HGV's. My shifts are early morning and I finish between 1800 and 2000 at night so they don't get used all the time. Pros. Good value-two torches for around £20-the one I lost was £16. Very bright light. Comfortable to wear. Two USB charging cables included. Cons. Main light control buttons a bit too fussy-these torches need a dedicated on/off button for the main light. I would question the claimed 2,000 lumens. Why a red and green flashing light? I would recommend these torches, but expect a lot of button presses to turn them off.

I have tried 7 different sets of headlamps over the last 4 months, while carrying out large cinema upgrade works. The Lepro is the best, with comfortable head-band, bright white light, & 6-8hrs between charges. The red/green flashing lights assist locating by everybody in each cinema.

As someone who spends a lot of time doing early morning dog walks, weekend camping trips, and the occasional under-the-sink plumbing repair, a reliable headlamp is a daily necessity. I picked up this Lepro 2-pack hoping for a decent backup set, but they have quickly become my primary lights. For the price point, the value here is outstanding. Here is my breakdown after a few weeks of heavy use: THE GOOD: Blindingly Bright (When you need it): The 2000 Lux rating isn't a joke. On the highest spotlight setting, it easily illuminates my entire backyard and reaches well down the street (rated for 500ft, which feels accurate). It gives me a lot of peace of mind when walking near busy roads at night. The Red Light Feature: This is often overlooked, but it’s the main reason I love these. The dedicated red light mode is perfect for reading in a tent or checking on the kids without blinding anyone or ruining my night vision. A lot of budget headlamps make you cycle through the blinding white light to get to the red one—mercifully, Lepro gave these two independent buttons. Feather-Light & Comfortable: Weighing just over 2.5 ounces, I honestly forget I’m wearing it. The elastic band is soft, easily adjustable, and doesn't squeeze my temples like heavier battery-pack models do. Rechargeable Convenience: Ditching AAA batteries is a game-changer. The built-in 1200mAh battery lasts for days of intermittent use. The fact that this is a 2-pack means I can keep one in my truck and one on the charger in the house—I am never without a working light. Smart Articulation: The 45-degree tilt feature clicks firmly into place. When I'm doing intricate work under the hood of my car, I can angle the beam exactly where my hands are without straining my neck. Band Material: The headband is comfortable, but it can absorb sweat on really hot evening runs. Fortunately, it is easy to slip off the plastic bracket and hand-wash in the sink. Quello a sinistra (per chi la indossa) comanda le luci colorate: premuto una volta accende la luce rossa fissa, premuto di nuovo accende le luci lampeggianti alternate verde e rossa, premuto la terza volta spegne. Il pulsante destro comanda le luci bianche: premuto una volta accende il fascio di luce meno forte, premuto di nuovo passa al fascio luce più intenso disponibile, premuto la terza volta accende una luce bianca diffusa, premuto la quarta volta passa a una luce diffusa più forte della precedente, premuto la quinta volta spegne. Volendo, ammesso che abbia una qualche utilità, i pulsanti possono essere usati contemporaneamente per creare tutte le combinazioni possibili tra luci bianche e luci colorate. Ricarica e durata delle batterie La ricarica avviene tramite un cavetto in dotazione molto corto (circa 32 cm compresi i due spinotti) e richiede un caricatore per cellulari (non compreso) da 5V dotato di ingresso USB. Tempi di scarica valutati su una lampada nuova subito dopo una ricarica completa. Per avere un’idea ne ho lasciata accesa una nella modalità fascio di luce bianca alla massima intensità. Dopo 5 ore di accensione continua la luminosità era ancora accettabile, l’ho lasciata accesa altri quaranta minuti per vedere se ci fosse un auto spegnimento o un avviso di scarica, vedendo che la luce gradualmente diminuiva l’ho spenta e rimessa in carica, probabilmente sarebbe rimasta accesa ancora per qualche ora ma con un’intensità di luce insufficiente per la maggior parte degli impieghi. Direi che il fascio di luce più forte consente circa 5 ore di utilizzo ininterrotto a una temperatura di circa 20°, non ho avuto modo di testarla alle basse temperature. Ho ricaricato con un caricatore Apple da smartphone 5V 1A che ha impiegato circa 5:50 ore per la ricarica completa. Durante la fase di ricarica rimane accesa una luce rossa, al termine della ricarica la luce diventa verde. Ho quindi effettuato una seconda prova: dopo una ricarica completa ho lasciato la stessa lampada accesa a luce lampeggiante alternata rossa e verde. Dopo ben due giorni, 48 ore di accensione ininterrotta, la batteria conservava una buona riserva di energia, la lampada avrebbe potuto rimanere accesa nella stessa modalità ancora per ore. Conclusione L’impressione è che si tratti di un prodotto di ottima qualità sotto tutti i punti di vista. A parte gli usi “professionali” che giustificano spese maggiori per prestazioni superiori, direi che queste due lampade (pagate 21,23 euro) sono un’ottima soluzione a un buon prezzo per usi non estremi. Oltre al trekking notturno sono utilissime da tenere in auto e in camper. La lunghissima autonomia in luce lampeggiante può rappresentare nottetempo un importante fattore di sicurezza per la visibilità garantita anche a forte distanza; infatti ne terrò sempre almeno una nello zaino anche durante le escursioni diurne. Una volta acquistate le ho trovate utili anche per svolgere lavori in punti poco illuminati, in casa o al lavoro. Con due semplici supporti autocostruiti all’occorrenza posso anche montarle sulla bicicletta. Spero che mantengano una buona affidabilità nel corso del tempo. Per ora ne consiglio l’acquisto senza ombra di dubbio.
