Al clad products are made in the USA. This came from China. I did more digging and can't confirm that Al clad even produces this type of pot

Fantastic for Smothered, for Sauted Spinach
This is an excellent pan for smothered dishes. Also for sauted leafy greens.Only downside is the narrow handle that has a very uncomfortable edge. Should be a little shorter, wider, and more rounded.Otherwise amazing, and it should last for generations.
