If polarities are reversed, will the meter be damaged?

If you are referring to switching the Source/Load on the meter... No damage, but the Amperage won't show. If you are referring to the polarity of the Positive and Negative power poles being reversed this would not be advisable. (have not done this)

was this supposed to come with the auxiliary battery wire? If not, where can I get one of these wires?? Thank you!

Faulty unit? this power analyzer only connects to the 13.8v dc power. nothing is connected on the load side. i am still seeing 0.12a current.
