Great toy
Purchased for a niece who had seen one at school. These toys are great. Make sure to buy the actual Hoberman sphere and not the generics. This holds up well compared to the look alike generic toys that fall apart. Would recommend for all age groups. I had one on my office desk for years and it becomes a great conversation starter. Highly recommend this product.

Awesome beyond my expectations
This model is stunning. Meditative to play with. Once it's been under a lamp it basically shines all night long. It is relatively delicate. Not for rough tossing or pulling apart.

Got this for my Daughter for Christmas as she'd been wanting one for a long time. Not sure who has played with it more...her or me!

my 12 years old son fall in love with this toy
my 12 years old son fall in love with this toy. i didn't expect that it would be such a big hit. he said it can occupy him for hours... :)But 14 years old son that got similar one only in different color wasn't excited at all and at the end traded with his brother for something, So that other one can have both of them and keep one in both houses .the only thing that we lost one of the connection same day (probably after rolling git on the carpet), but then we found it and clip it back pretty easy. not sure how long it would servive

I love the hobermans expanding sphere
I love the hobermans expanding sphere. I have the original size too. I travel around teaching kids yoga and also teaching kids yoga Teacher trainings. I bring the mini with me when i travel by plane. I use them to teach kids about breath and call it a breathing ball. Kids are mesmerized by it. Don’t waste your money on a cheap knock off, downs a little more to get quality. Mine last for years.

Small, then big, then small, then big, then small, then big. Makes my dogs bark.
It gets bigger.. then gets smaller. Little hinges can pinch you but frankly after many, many years of evolution you quickly figure out that it doesn't really hurt and to keep your fingers out the pinchy spots.Did I mention it gets bigger? then smaller? then bigger again? I like to throw it to my dogs, completely wigs them out. They just bark at me now when I bring it out.I like it.
