Wow! This unit has gotten me out of a few bad moments. It does everything it states it does. I think everyone should own one. It will forsure get you out of a dead batter jam everytime. Last year I installed this in my wife's car, and where we live it extremely cold here. She was at work it was -39°C not even a block heater can work properly in that temp. Anyways, her car wouldn't start. Everyone at her work there cars would not start. Plugged in this bad boy and 3 hours later, she was the only one who had her car started with no issues. This saved us a tow. So worth every penny. So now we plug this in all the time in the winter. We love this little unit. I know you would love it as well. Also this unit will prolong the life of your battery forsure. As led-acid battery's love to be full charged all the time. Don't believe me, looking up! They loose power in cold temps, so this unit will keep it topped up all the time.Haha, never get left out in the cold with this unit.If you thinking of not getting it. You can't say I didn't tell you so. Futher more, only get the one you have to install. It's best, you can buy a 2 way splitter for the block heater and this unit and plug it in at the same time. No fuss whats so ever. Perfect for brand new cars and all makes and models including Hybrid cars. NOTE : Not for full Electric cars vehicles.I've been an auto service technician for over 25 years.

Great battery tender. I have a bad back and I frequently am laid up for a month or more at a time during which my car just sits in the garage with the alarm and 2 cameras sucking the juice out of my battery. The first time I was laid up it cost me a new battery. Then I purchased this little gem and it works great! My 2 cameras are constantly recording, my alarm works and the car keeps all its memory savings.This was installed in a 2019 Honda HRV and it fit in absolutely perfectly. I had no issues with the wires being too short and install was easy and straight forward.It flashes a red led as it charges which then changes to a flashing green led as the battery nears full charge and the it stays permanently green when the battery is fully charged. I wouldn't say it's portable, I suppose it depends on your install. I have OCD so my wires are all tucked away and hidden from view so it's staying put.Absolutely love this little tender and I'm planning to get another for the wife's car. Get yourself one, you'll be glad you did!!
