I ordered this start capacitor while troubleshooting the control box for my well pump. As it turned out, the capacitor wasn't the source of the problem, so I didn't end up installing it. That said, I was impressed with how quickly it arrived. The capacitor appears to be well made, was packaged properly, and had no signs of damage when it arrived. Since I didn't need it immediately, it'll stay on the shelf as a spare for future repairs. Having replacement parts like this on hand can save a lot of downtime if a well pump ever does need service. This capacitor is the same as the original BMI capacitor in every way...except for the price, its cheaper. The microfarad value, the voltage rating, and size are all the same. Only the branding is different. Probably made in the same factory as the original. Save yourself a little cash and buy this one.

Looks like a perfectly functional high-quality replacement item, but it did nothing for me not saying it was good or bad. Just saying it didn’t work on my application could be my fault.
