Would this be a tripping hazard for senior adults?

We use these on our range to remove dust from peoples shoes as there are leaving. We peel the old one off when it is no longer sticky. I personally do not have an issue with it being a trip hazard but it is very sticky at first. If you are not aware of this I can see how it might cause someone such as an elderly person to stumble, especially if there is nothing to hold onto such as a railing.

does the adhesive work in low temperatures (0F-50F)?

I doubt it. We add double sided tape to hold down to floor.

Must store flat and stay flat before use

For what we were using it for it was good. If shipping or packing allow it to stand on edge, short or long edge it will bunch up and stay that way. They need to lay flat at all times!!! Floor must start clean for the sticky backer to keep it in place!
