Swiss Army Knife for audio patching
Excellent product! Have had it for 10 years and still going strong. Mostly use for it's multiple input capability (SPDIF from my A/D converter or Blu-Ray, TOS from my old Mac Tower or TV digital output, Aux 1 from my iPhone and Aux 2 for Alexa). Having the two headphone outputs also great for simple sessions with musicians, but easy enough to connect a multiple headphone output to just one of these to expand. Only thing that sucks for me is that I lost my remote controller a long time ago, and cannot seem to find anywhere they sell only that unit : (

Great Quality
I've been using Presonus gear for a long time. I have the Studio 192 192kHz/24 Bit 26x32 USB 3.0 interface, the Central Station PLUS, and Studio One 4 Professional. All of which I love. I have 2 pairs of monitors, a studio woofer and 2 pairs of studio monitor headphones and I've always wanted to be able to control the speakers from a piece of hardware rather than going into the Universal Control software. I have owned the Central Station PLUS for a couple of years now and everything is in great shape. I use it every single day unless I'm out of town. It feels very well built, the knobs are solid, the buttons are clicky, the inputs have a tight fit, the lights are plenty bright enough and the housing is of course metal! It's a very nice build and I am happy I own one.

A Fine Specialist Tool for a Reasonable Price
I got my first Central Station for use at home, where I had a full-range speaker system that I enjoyed when I could w/o disturbing others in the house, a pair of nearfield speakers at my desk, and a subwoofer that I wanted to shut down when I worked late at night. At the time the Central Station was the only product that could do that for me...plus it was rack mountable, had metering and not one but two headphone outputs for when I needed to be as quiet as possible! Sadly the remote was a "free with coupon" option that never was fulfilled. This original unit is still working fine after more than a decade of use. Naturally the unsealed pots and switches require regular maintenance to stay trouble-free, a fact that seems to be lost on a couple of reviewers. So far I have not had to replace any component. My only gripe is with the ghastly blue lights, a fad that has long outlived it's second 15 minutes of infatuation. (I'm old enough to recall the same silly craze back in the 1970s, that thankfully died a lot faster.) Come on guys! This isn't a toy for millennials, it's a tool that could really benefit from non-glare lighting, and the same kind of color-coded buttons that I see on PreSonus mixing surfaces. My latest Central Station is for my new mastering studio. I don't produce for the lowest quality listener, so there are no cheap meter bridge speakers here! But there is a sub that I occasionally use with my otherwise full-range monitors, when I need to hear the 32 foot pipe organ register. And this time I got the remote! Yay!

Great 'Central Station' for the semi-pro studio
I picked this CS up used from another studio. I've run my 3 sets of studio speakers through the CS for a number of years with no problems at all. The unit is clear and quiet. In fact, it's always powered on, burning hot and very happy with that. It has many great features and connectivity for a moderately sized studio setup. I would recommend this monitor station.

This has been a great product so far
This has been a great product so far. It offers a great deal of flexibility and options to my mobile recording set up, and intergrades seamlessly into my studio. I love having the ability to switch between several different audio sources with the touch of one button. And also, switch between different monitoring options with the touch of a button. Well built, easy to use, and a great addition to my rig.

Cheap
While this unit sounds much better than anything in the price range, the price doesn't justify the fact it falls apart from the moment you buy it. Pretty much from month one on, count on it losing another feature. I have owned two and won't buy another and hope others will learn from my mistakes.
