Bootstrap Farmer 1020 Net Pot Trays, 50 Pack for Aquaponics and Hydroponics

These support trays are great - for what they're designed to do - an AWESOME product - While we'll continue to purchase this product due to it's construction and usefulness - a word of caution if you use anything other than lighter materials inside the baskets - for instance if you plan on using pebbles be careful on the amount and weight - the system (this support and the plastic tray it is designed to work with are not engineered to hold water AND pebbles as part of the hydroponics system - make sure to account for double or triple tray and perhaps double net pot usage - also depending on the application and what it is you're sprouting :-) - some plants grow heavier than others and if you plan to change the water WHILE the 32 plants are almost fully ready for transplant you may experience serious difficulty in lifting the support and replacing the water - Some of the tub trays have broken and cracked on the sides (no completely but enough to cause concern when the medium is rocks or glass

Fits perfectly in a standard 1020 seed starter tray. Appears to be very sturdy and should last many seasons. Will buy again in the future

Pricey- but very good quality!

Initially ordered these because I thought these were the 1020 trays (no-holes), per description, and before the title changed. However received the net pot trays- check Bootstrap Farmer for more info. Easy return, but want to note that the net pot trays are really good quality- strong and rigid. But what came was just the trays, not the actual net pots. Might try them next year.

The biggest thing to keep in mind about this is that there are TOO MANY different sizes of 1020 trays and cups out there.. and they all are varying sizes. SO let my trial and error help you.. So the first thing is these will not fit in a lot of flimsy cheep 1020 trays because they don't have a good lip. You'll need to buy a nice 1020 tray like this one ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y9XFY4X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) These fit PERFECT in that. These net pot tray's have a nipple on each corner which helps it keep from sliding off the tray. The cups.. this is the most important part.. The hole in these net cup trays is a little larger than 2".. so you ABSOLUTELY need to get a wide mouth cup.. the cups that fir perfect are these ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073WJFHQH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )

I have 6 Tower Gardens, each with 28 plant sites. The amount of time I spent preparing and transferring seedlings was crazy. These trays allowed me to set up each seedling in its own net pot that simply gets dropped into the towers when ready. AMAZING! The build quality is awesome and sturdy much like the rest of the trays from Bootstrap Farmer. Great company with amazing products.

2nd purchase of these trays, and if there had been more available, we would have bought them, too! They're rugged and strong and do NOT bend or fold under any circumstance we've put them into. Bootstrap Farmer has sold us a top-notch product, and we will definitely be buying from them again.
