Makes viewing movies and immersive experience.
I was looking for a Bluetooth transmitter that could be plugged in for uninterrupted listening to my older television. The 1Mii was easy to set it and paired quickly to my wireless headphones. Sound quality is excellent, no noticeable lag. Range is great. Peace of mind while watching movies without being disturbed by noisy neighbors is priceless.

Very easy to install and very reliable
This Bluetooth transmitter gave you all the connection wires you needed and was extremely easy to connect to my wireless speaker. The display screen is worth the extra money so you can see the device you are connecting to. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. I have been using it for the last couple of months and it has been on 24/7 since it was connected and it has not dropped out once.

Pairing Issues Explained
I gave this product a 4, because once setup it seems to be an easy to use device. The transmitter quality is good, but could use a little more volume range for channels that have low broadcast volume. The biggest issue was with initial connectivity. If the device is close to other devices that are transmitting Bluetooth signal (like the DirecTV HDMI receiver), it struggles to pair with any device. I discovered my solution by reading other reviewers that struggled with the same issue. My solution was to take the transmitter and headphones to an environment that was free of any distracting Bluetooth signal. Now that the two are paired, I reconnected to the TV and each use is automatically connected. You can detect a little latency, but not enough to worry about.

increased connection range
For the first hour, the connection occasionally broke up but it has been fine since. It definitely has a further range than my previous transmitter.

Solved my problem for a reasonable price
So far, this thing is pretty much everything I wanted. I bought it to use with two sets of Sony Wh-CH720N headphones. The process of hooking it up was pretty easy. My TV has an optical output (I suppose pretty much any new TV does) so that's a nice, easy one cable solution. The optical cable that comes with it is a bit short for my liking but I suppose that will be relatively easy to rectify with a longer optical cable (I probably have that somewhere. I just haven't used it for a long time and don't remember where I put it). The power cable is a bit more of an issue, as it's somewhat proprietary and is rather short. I am not sure my headphones are compatible with the "low latency" codec this thing claims it has but I haven't noticed any lag at all so far so whatever. The only slight qualms I have is getting both headsets connected was a bit confusing since there is no display and (as near as I can tell, no indicator for which (1 or 2) one you are attempting to connect. I mean, if your memory is normal I guess that might not be an issue but sometimes I forget stuff I just did so I didn't remember which button I pushed. But, I somehow got both headsets connected in relatively short order and found everything works as it should. I am also pretty impressed with the range, as it covers my entire apartment where the built in bluetooth in my PC starts cutting out about halfway. The complaints others have about the light flashing when not in use aren't really a big deal for me. Firstly because I can sleep with my lamp on most times so light doesn't even bother me. But also because you simply press the power button and hold it down for a couple seconds when you're done using it and it shuts the unit down (including the light). I suppose it would be nice if it had an automatic timeout but hey. I needed to solve the problem for two people to be able to listen wirelessly at the same time and this solves that problem for a reasonable price. A worry that I had before I got it was whether or not I'd be able to control the volume on each headset independently. Happy to report (with my Sony headphones, at least) that works. You just use the volume controls on the headphones. The volume control on the unit itself only raises the volume on both headsets equally so you have to adjust them individually for individual preference. Which is how I wanted it anyway. Overall, pretty decent product that will have you up and doing what you need to do right out of the box as long as your devices are compatible. Not taking any stars off for the lack of display because I knew that before I bought it. This company makes models with a display but they cost significantly more than I wanted to pay.

Really bad latency
Really bad latency. I added this for a patio Bluetooth speaker to use along side my indoor wired speakers and the latency is horrible does not even come close to syncing up with the indoor speakers. I’m sure it would lag behind whatever is playing on a tv/video as well. The sound quality seems decent but unusable for my application.

Very good, but beware of latency using the optical audio
I bought this to enable my older TV (that does not have Bluetooth) to pair to my Bluetooth earbuds for watching TV at night. The transmitter does exactly what it's supposed to do, however, I learned that using the digital optical audio connection resulted in noticeable lag / latency with the video (audio was about 250 ms behind the video - causing lip sync effect). I think the problem might be that even though this product has the AptX low-latency technology, my BT earbuds (Beats Studio Buds) do not support the AptX codec - and so they were not able to take advantage of that feature. I switched from using the digital optical audio connection to the analog (RCA) connection and there was considerably less lag (honestly, not really even noticeable lag at that point), which has basically resolved the issue. I'm in the process of getting a new set of BT earbuds that support AptX and will re-try the optical audio connection to see if that addresses the lag issue. That said, they pretty much work fine with the analog RCA connection, so it's really not a big deal (using earbuds only, you don't really need multi-channel digital surround sound anyway and I don't notice any analog feedback or 'buzz' with that connection. If I were using this for a soundbar or surround sound speakers, I'd be more interested in using that digital connection, though). The range on this transmitter is really good, too... I primarily bought the device because originally, I paired my earbuds to my streaming device (Onn 4k plus) directly (which is always a better setup), but the Bluetooth range on my streaming device was very limited and the audio kept cutting out - so this solves that issue. I can walk all over the downstairs floor of my house where the device is plugged in and it stays connected. It's also nice that you can pair and connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (although I don't really use that feature). If my new earbuds resolve the latency issue with the optical audio connection, I'll change this from 4 stars to 5 stars.

Prinzipiell wusste ich also, was ich wollte.
