The Best Molasses
Just the most delicious molasses out there. My grocery store used to carry it, and when they didn't have it anymore, I tried the major national brand. Just doesn't have that rich full flavor. Blackstrap is too bitter. Brer Rabbit has a full flavor, with minimal bitterness. It's great for cookies, brown breads, stews/curries, and I'm fond of it as syrup on French toast.

great for oatmeal raisin bread
Really good! I'm buying it again, because my oatmeal raisin bread came out very well using this. I just wanted to mention another review here: "If you are ordering this, just know that this is the very strongest type of molasses." <= very much not true! I can only conclude the person writing that has never tried blackstrap molasses, which I got once by mistake. I now know there are three categories of molasses: "light/fancy" (sweetest), "dark/robust" (more flavor), "blackstrap" (extra-robust, bitter).

Best Organic Blackstrap Mollasses
I usually get the other, more popular BS mollasses, which was fine, but this one tastes amazing. I have it on subscription. I love it for the taste and health benefits. I put it in my coffee every day.

Added What Was Missing
Currently developing a recipe for oatmeal cookies and this provided just the flavor I was looking for. A depth and complex sweetness that is not brown sugar or regular sugar. It gives a sweet umami razzle dazzle to whatever you are making. Also found out you can use this for some adult beverages as well.
