would these be big enough for progressive or bifocal lenses?

I am an Optician and have worn glasses for over 40 years. I have seen tons of different plastic types. These may make it through the manufacturing process but that is A LOT of money on lenses. Once made, the lenses can not be placed into another frame if this one breaks. You can try eyebobs. They are super fun, less expensive glasses that are reading glasses but are able to be made into real glasses. I, personally have 3 and I own 17 pairs of glasses I switch through and another 13 pair I need to add my new RX to after my prescription doubled at my last exam. Make sure you feel the plastic of ANY frame. Any one able to be made into a pair of glasses that will last are going to feel different. Smoother, shinier, a bit more rigid than cheap readers plastic and the inside bevel (The part the lens gets traced and shape is made to) is not choppy or missing the 'V" shape in any place all the way around. I have made Brighton Co. sunglasses into my prescription by doing what I described. and the are cool cat eyes in a brown, progressive, polarized lens.

Only one. No lenses...'rhinestones' are just grey circles...they are so cheap, I threw them out ☹️

Are the lenses easy to remove?

I did not remove the lenses.  A plastic frame, with heat you maybe able to.  Possibly see an eye drs. office to help you out.
