SAMSON C03 Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone

O Samson C03 é uma ótima compra. Qualidade e preço juntos. Sensacional as opções de padrão polar (figura 8, cardióide e omnidirecional). Comprei principalmente para gravação direta em video do tipo debate. Som claro e limpo. O prazo de entrega da Amazon também foi ótimo, mesmo considerando que o produto é de estoque da Amercian Musical.

its multi settings add to a great addition to the studio mics i own. vocals have came out crystal clear in all the recordings. i have yet to try the other two setting for instruments but im sure they will not be disappointing.

I've heard a few mics as well as professional studio mic (many over 5 grand). Now this mic is not up to par with mic's that cost a few grand but it is worth well more than a hundred. This mic is in the class of 500$ to 1000$ mics. Samson isn't as popular as MXL or AKG and b/c they are priced low some people may think they are not quality. Thats far from the truth. Amazon doesn't have alot of reviews on them but google this mic and see if you can find a bad review. You won't. My first foray into samson mics was the C01U. DO NOT GET THE C01U FOR MUSIC. ITS ONLY FOR PODCAST. DOES NOT WORK WELL FOR MUSIC. For a podcast mic it did a good job but its not a good mic for music. So I bought the C03. (I would recommend using an audio interface with the C03 rather than the C03U-usb version). When you get this mic you will need to apply phantom power. Then listen to the crisp clean sound. I'm really impressed with this mic. And you will be too.

For being an entry level condenser mic, its value/cost ratio is pretty satisfactory. It may shine a bit more when recording instruments. Recording vocals with it hasn't been that great. All in all, decent. A bit too noisy, but decent.

A good entry-level, lower-end condenser (back-electret) microphone. Sounds pretty good, though with a bit of self-noise indicative of back-electrets. Very useful multi-pattern design makes it a nice, inexpensive entry into using different mic types. I've used 2 for drum overheads and found them to be not-too-bad. I would recommend with the caveat that these are not high-end mics. You get what you pay for, but in this case it's a good bargain.

Lo que me gusta de este producto es su sonido, tuve la oportunidad de probarlo antes de comprarlo y lo primero que me gusto fue su sonido, prevalecen los medios sin saturar los grabes con un brillo especial e los agudos, justo lo que me agrada, un sonido fresco y muy natural. Después su diseño, después los materiales, la verdad muy resistente y al final su precio, creo que no esperaba que tuviera ese precio, es mejor que muchos otros que están más caros en el mercado, y pues este producto lo uso para mi pequeño estudio en casa y la verdad quedo perfecto.

Compré el Samson C03 porque, tras 17 años de uso, se me estropeó mi viejo Rode. De momento, solo he grabado una canción, pero me ha ofrecido un buen sonido y cuesta la mitad que mi micro anterior. Apenas se aprecian diferencias en el sonido final, por lo que me parece una buena opción.

I bought this mic to replace my previous studio mic which I had for years. Its extremely clean and quiet when using it with a tascam mixer hooked up to my PC via USB. Its got a nice blue LED that lights up so you know its hooked up right and ready to go. There is no on off switch but as long as you turn off the phantom power before unplugging and plugging in thats cool. Its very heavy and looks good but you need to buy cable and a pop mask or if you need a shock frame these have to be purchased seperately. So all in all I got a much better sound then my other mic which cost me £100 (reduced from £200 over a decade ago) and its much better then my other mic Oktava MK-219 mic and my Shure Sm58 when it comes to input as its much louder. Its great for both vocals and micing up an acoustic guitar. Very pleased with my purchase.

The Samson C03 condenser microphone is a really awesome buy for studio recording applications. I have used it for both vocal as well as acoustic instrument recordings. The multi-pattern feature of this microphone is the real deal for varied recording scenarios. The build of the microphone and the hard case it comes with are also the highlight features. The low frequency cut off option available on the microphone is also really helpful and overall the mic has shows good response over varied frequency ranges and produces good sound levels.
