Innova 5510

So far, so good. Correctly identified airbag fault on my 2005 Scion. Be sure to go to Innova's website and update the scanner with the current firmware and vehicle database. Scanner connects to computer via USB. Easy process, but takes a little while to download the new database. USB cord and 3 AA batteries are not provided. Also, there is basically no manual, but you can download and print one from their website as well. Good luck and happy scanning!

This is easy to use. It has several advanced features that you may or may not want, but that is better than not having enough features. It is simple to use. Easy to read codes. Tells you if it can or can not erase codes. If it can not, it tells you why and tells you what to do. It even tells you the most common repairs for the codes; ie, look for broken wires, possible bad solenoid, check xyz, etc.

I've had this product for a couple of days, and wanted to download their companion app repairsolutions 2 and turns out its only available for US download. And unfortunately the customer service on their website has no real solution for it. Just be wary if you're purchasing it for outside the us. Regarding the tool as a whole The bad The feel, it just feels like a very fragile tool, the plastic feels like the ones on toys. I read on cheaper models they came with batteries included, this one does not The good Love the led light to find the connector Love that the tool can tell you where the obd2 port is located.

This is my first scanner so it took me a minute to figure it out. Really wish it had come with a printed manual, but it was easy to locate and download the digital version. The first thing I wanted to do was update the firmware. It does not come with a USB cable, so I needed to locate the proper type. Turns out an old camera cable did the trick. After that, I successfully connected the scanner to my 2018 Ram Promaster and was able to check and reset my SRS warning light. That's all I have used it for so far, but I am confident that this will be an effective and useful tool. The build quality seems good, so I think it will last a while, and the lifetime updates should prevent premature obsolescence. Minus1 star due to the lack of a printed manual and USB cable.

I solely bought this because of the ABS bleeding function. And the fact that it’s manufactured in the USA. HOWEVER……..it DOES NOT support 94’-00’ Ram 1500 for sure!!! I STATE AGAIN, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FOR ABS BLEEDING. I AM RETURNING THIS PRODUCT.

Bought to keep in the cars / trucks . After reading some online reviews , this seems to be the best bang for the buck . Works great for me & I’m very new to these newer cars 🙂👍 Hope this helps !

Worth the price -- yes.... easy to use and understand. Love the bluetooth app on my android. Makes life easier when keeping track of codes. Top Shelf all the way!!!
