Based on my recent experience with Revo Tech Support, which was most professional and courteous, SuperConnect gets 5 STARs.
First of all, I love its retro design. Styling, materials and build-quality are excellent (through I am a little worried how long will the remote control membrane keypads last ). As a radio and music player, I rate the Revo SuperConnect a 5-stars. The tuner's FM performance and sound quality are outstanding(I have not tried SpotifyConnect nor DAB yet). However as an internet device, it can use a few travail improvements listed here: 1. It doesn't seem to have a real time clock - every time it is power-cycled, the Date and Time have to be re-entered. (Even though it can be configured to get time from FM, DAB or Internet, I was not able to get it to work). 2. After a Software Update, it resets the volume to Max Volume, This is not very user friendly. 3. Most annoying issue is that whenever it loses internet connectivity, say due to low Wi-Fi signal, it does not remember which WiFi network was selected before. As a result the user has to manually select the desired network and go through the network wizard setup again!. Until then, the internet radio is "hung", and it won't let the user change mode, say to play FM radio, until its search for a network times out (which is a very long time). Not sure other users have the same experience. If so I hope Revo can address these "inconveniences" in a software update. Overall I enjoy listening to the SuperConnect and would rate it a "4".

Minor issue, but overall happy with the purchase.
Solid built peace. Good sound quality, and pleasing aesthetically. Has countless stations from around the world. I mainly use internet radio stations port. The only drawback, sometimes when turning on, the radio gets hang up while trying to load station. Then have to reset it (by unplugging power cord) to keep it going.

A good radio, but the Grace is a better value.
I have been looking to replace my Grace digital radio. That radio worked well except for one thing - it could not keep a connection with my Wi-Fi network. My bedroom is opposite to my Netgear router but everything else I would use (cell phone, tablet, laptop, Wi-Fi blueray player) at the same location had no problem keeping connection. So essentially it was useless. When it was connected to the network, I was very happy with it. I eventually decided to purchase the Revo SuperConnect, in the hope that it would be able to hold a Wi-Fi connection better. It occasionally loses connection, but it is now infrequent and to that end I am satisfied. Overall it is a good radio. It seems to be well constructed and should last a very long time. The screen is easy to use and the menu is intuitive. It was easy to hook up to my Wi-Fi network. It comes with a remote, but you can also operate everything directly from the radio itself. Using the radio/remote, one can browse (cumbersomely) the internet radio stations, and play Spotify (which I do not personally use). There are some presents you can save on the radio which you can program to play as your alarm for example. Compared to the Grace radio, It's not as good because you have less options on what you can play from the radio itself (no Pandora, no Iheart radio, ...) what that means I that you cannot listen to those stations on the Revo without the use of a second device (tablet or phone). To listen to Pandora, Iheart or whatever else , you need to use the Bluetooth connection on a phone/tablet.. You can do this with individual aps (ie Pandora ap). Works fine, but remember that since you need a tablet/phone to play those stations, you cannot have them as presents on the Revo to use as a wake up station for example. There is also a Revo ap which you can use from your tablet or phone to operate most of the controls on the radio. With the ap, you can browse internet radios (much easier than from the radio itself), create presets, and play music through the blue tooth player. Sound wise, it's fine...but do not think it's significantly better than the Grace radio. I would call these about even. So overall it's a good radio, but I don't think it's worth the $400 they want. The Grace radio is a much better value for most people. The only time I would recommend the Revo is if your router is in a distant location, in which case the Revo has a better antenna to hold the connection.

Undependable and beware if you don't live in England
I bought the Revo SuperConnect in 2017 as my wife is from the UK and has BBC Radio 2 or 4 on most of the day when she's home. It had good reviews and lots of features. My experience has been less than good. The unit does not have an Ethernet port. The only way to connect it to the network is via Wi-Fi. For reference we only use the unit as an Internet radio, therefore all media is via the network. From the start the audio paused because the buffer would empty. These pauses last between 2-5 seconds. At other times the audio would repeat the last 2-5 seconds. For the past year the network connection times out and the unit is not capable of reconnecting without a reboot. As a note the wireless router is in the same room and none of the other devices in our home have any wireless networking issues. I must accept that it is my fault that I did not return the unit during the 30 day return period. While I have had communication with Revo in Scotland about the issues, I also never sent it in for warranty repair. I don't know how shipping would work if I had sent it in for repair as you must ship the unit to Scotland. Recently I contacted Revo about sending the unit in for out of warranty repair and they provided a RMA and an address in Scotland. We took the unit it to the USPS to ship it and the cost was $124 without any insurance or tracking. I contacted Revo and said the cost to ship was prohibitive, not to mention the cost of the repair and return shipping. They responded by saying they are a small company and therefore do not have any facilities in the US. I just want to warm people of this situation before they buy anything from Revo if they do not live in the UK. If you have a problem and need a repair, prepare to be out of pocket quite a large sum of money if you live outside the UK.

Is this the best internet radio in the world?
This radio surpassed my expectations on all counts. It truly is multi functional - internet radio, DAB, FM, music streaming from other servers and Bluetooth connectivity to other computer devices. This is the ONLY way to listen to the world. If you're an expat (as I am) and want to listen to radio broadcasts from home, this is a fabulous solution. Literally thousands of radio stations from around the world at your fingertips. Most internet radios don't come with an alarm - this comes with two. Wake up to your favorite music or your home town radio station half a world away. A comprehensive manual which I didn't need to use to set up - the on screen menu is intuitive and simple to use. Just enter your wifi network and away you go. Seriously good sound quality in a very classy retro design. Five stars!

Don't waste your time
This is a stylishly designed audio device with fairly robust sound. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Specifically, it cannot (at least in my circumstance) maintain a connection to the internet. The internet radio, and Spotify disconnects frequently, and won't work again unless you unplug and re-plug in the unit. Revo's customer service blames the victim, blames the network and/or internet connection. Well, I have a new expensive router well within range along with a fast internet connection. More to the point, all of my other internet connected devices, my phone, my TV, etc. manage to maintain a connection. The radio can connect alright, it just can't maintain or re-acquire a connection. I'm returning it today.

Lazy audiophile's dream come true
As of April 25 2015, I've only had this for a couple of days, so bear with me if I still have a bit of new-toy euphoria! Rather than duplicate what others have already said, I'll try to focus more on fussy details for those who are into such things. Fit & Finish: Looks very good, with wrap-around walnut veneering extending to the bottom and rear edges of the cabinet. Front and rear panels are (laser-cut?) sheets of aluminum with matte finish. Near as I can tell, the color is actually dead-neutral, but it does reflect the color of it's surroundings. OLED readout: Wonderfully crisp and contrasty even at lowest setting. If you are annoyed by devices with too-bright LEDs, you're probably going to adore this. Resolution is pretty low but that's okay because my eyes aren't what they used to be anyhow (ha). For the way I actually use it, the crispness and contrast seem more important. Controls: Pleasing light click feel to buttons and volume control. Labels are small and some buttons are black-on-black. However I quickly became accustomed to navigating via their general location. Pressing the Mode button repeatedly cycles you through the various sources: Internet Radio->Spotify Connect->Music Player->DAB Radio->FM Radio->Bluetooth->Aux In Mini joystick control: Fine for flipping through menus, but typing via joystick is about as fun as it sounds. If you're like me, you'll probably use it to enter your wifi password. Web interface: Yes it has one, though it only provides info about the unit and allows you to change the radio's network name. Speaking of Music Player, I thought I'd see if I could connect to an existing Vortexbox (Logitech Media Server) installation. It works! I was landing a couple of levels of directory too high, and the artist/album search features weren't working, but that likely has more to do with my server setup. I could browse through the various albums and play them without a hitch. AC adapter: Small lightweight multi-voltage thing rated at 18V output. Clock, user settings: Clock loses it's time if unit is unplugged but quickly resets itself via network time server if you've switched that feature on. Unit retained my other user settings for a number of hours without power. Beyond that, I didn't test. DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast): Not offered in the USA. The closest USA equivalent is HD Radio which isn't supported by Superconnect. FM: Tunes from 87.5 to 108.0 mHz which is slightly more than actually used in No. America. If you choose the "Keep Network Connected: No" option, the wifi will turn itself off when you listen to FM radio. Quickie impression is that it doesn't make much difference in FM reception, but it's nice to have that option. Downside to picking that option is a minor delay in reconnecting to the network when you switch back to networked sources. I've got a favorite FM station which is kind of a tough catch: The signal is strong enough, but it's noisy, and there's another station on the same frequency. Using the built-in antenna, I can get better-than-average mono signal. FM antenna itself is mounted on a black plastic rod, and on my unit, this has a crack in it--perhaps I'll fix that once the unit is out of warranty. (It doesn't seem worth my while to ship the unit back for something that I can mend in a few minutes). Remote (shown stacked atop my iPhone 4 for size comparison): Near as I can tell, there are two different varieties, and this is the Mini. The remote for my Apple TV has the equivalent of 7 buttons; the one for my Muji bluetooth speaker has 8: Revo's has a whopping 28 and isn't better for it. Spotify Connect: Couldn't test as it requires a Premium account (but looks straightforward enough) Bluetooth: Seems to work great. Fidelity-enhancing AptX is only available if your mobile device is also AptX-equipped. iPhone/iPad aren't, but they still sound pretty good, and I wouldn't spend too much time fretting about the feature. Sonics: I measured fairly flat frequency response in my room. I didn't attempt to measure under quasi-anechoic conditions, nor did I make any attempt to find a spot in the room which would give me the smoothest and flattest possible response. Looks about what I'd expect out of a good modern DSP-equipped device (there's no way my 1955 Braun SK2 would match that). Wish list: It'd be great if there was a way to hide sources that you're never going to use (hello DAB). More control via web interface including the means to upload one's own internet radio directory would be great. Finally, the clock which is displayed when the unit is in Standby? I'd like a way to turn that off entirely. Update June 20, 2015: It's been getting quite a bit of use. Built-in speaker is easy on the ears, but when I want maximum fidelity, I'll run it's digital output into my stereo, and that sounds just great. I'll probably get a second AC brick: Easier to move the radio from place to place if I don't have to untangle any wires. A generic part should do fine. Update Oct 2016: Newer firmware now allows remote control via UNDOK app for iOS, check it out. After 18 months, I'm still thinking this one was totally worth it.

Sound quality is as good if not better than any clock radio you can ...
Expensive...but worth it. Sound quality is as good if not better than any clock radio you can find. Absolutely as good as a Bose. Internet connection was relatively simple and set-up did not take much time at all. Operations are reasonable... Remote control has a lot of buttons...but you get used to it pretty quickly. Other product descriptions have an error: the sleep timer function (automatically turns off radio) is easy and lasts for a maximum of 60 minutes (in 15 minute increments). Piece is solid. Display is acceptable (would like clock display to be a bit larger while radio is on...but a small complaint). I now listen to stations from: New Orleans, Seattle, New York, and Paris regularly... And, Spotify connection is great feature too.

WOW!

As a Clock Radio the SuperConnect is Super
Plenty of other reviews cover the wealth of playback options the SuperConnect delivers: the DAB, DAB+, FM, Wi-Fi Internet Radio and DLNA Network Playback, aptX Bluetooth, Spotify Connect etc. Others cover the high-end build quality and very impressive sound. I'm going to focus on the primary reason I bought this - to use as a bedside alarm clock radio. I don't think this is particularly well publicised so hopefully this helps someone. Firstly, the clear OLED display shows the time and date in a 01/01/2014 format (which automatically sets itself). This is shown permanently when in standby mode and is clear enough to read in the middle of the night. It's also not-too bright to illuminate the entire room. Below the time is the alarm activation times - there are two alarms so there could potentially be two times shown here - assuming they're set. There's also a wi-fi signal indicator. Setting the alarms is pretty straightforward. Switch the SuperConnect on, press the alarm button on the remote to bring up the alarm menu, select which of the two alarms you want to set and you enter another menu to set the time, source, volume, frequency etc. Save the details and repeat for the 2nd alarm. With the times set, and when the machine is in standby mode, press the alarm button on the remote to activate the alarms. Press it once to switch on alarm 1, a second time to switch on alarm 2, a third time to activate both alarms and a fourth time to switch both off. It's really easy to use and the small time indicator that appears in standby mode means you've got visual confirmation that (a) the alarm is activated and (b) what time it's set for. When the alarm activates - and I use this with the DAB radio as the preferred source - the volume gradually builds to the set level. This is far preferable to several other clock radios which switch on at the full volume and scare you half to death! Press either the power button on the machine or remote to switch off. It's one of the neatest and best featured clock radios I've come across. The only thing missing is a USB socket to connect my phone (it would be good if I could charge my phone from this). Otherwise, highly recommended. I should lastly add that DAB reception is excellent (and there's a proper telescopic aerial instead of a piece of wire). Connection to my wi-fi was really easy and it finds tracks on my NAS drive in seconds (although it's a bit laborious scrolling through them using the mini joystick controller). Yep, as a bedside radio it's brilliant.

Just for the protocol.. Wenns läuft sehr guter, digitaler also rauschfreier Empfang. + Aux in funktioniert tadellos. :-) mfG A.

Conclusion : Que de qualités, quelle bonne surprise !
