Final Fantasy XI The Ultimate Collection - PC

I would have been pretty satisfied if my package came a week later, but, Amazon and their advertising shoved Amazon.com PRIME into the free-shipping and at 2 days and waving the original fees, 9.99 for a DVD of three or four expansions was an excellent price!I have played the game on and off for about several years and I dont have the original disc to play with. So, I consolidated my losses into one DVD rom. I got the DVD ROM on time after breaking open the packinging the thing would not work.That's strange, I pulled it out, put it back in, Waitied and nothing. Is it my DVD Disc Drive? Put it in, wait, the light is flashing and nothing.So, I get my hands on the manual disc, place it in and VOILA. Pops right up. Okay, so I figured I'd have some kind of solace in using the game on another PC. So, I put it into three other PCs with working old and new drives, and nothing.You can paint me pretty frustrated at getting back a defective product and the turn around for amazon is a few days until I'd get a replacement. That is unnacceptable. They should return your product much sooner instead of shoving useless annual things for a service we won't use for one time buys. Amazon has lost my business in software, I am going to game stop or walmart.

One of the best game online, and one of the oldest game as well, hundreds of quest, creation of character is easy, although would attract more players if you can customize your character like oblivion customization, character creation has a limit which i give that below average, lots of activities and wide range of adventure land.Leveling is now better than a few years back were easy prey gives you 15 experience point at the most, experience points now could gives you at least 100 experience point which is good, a lot of jobs to choose from and off course you do some research on how you complete quest and missions, and that's the only thing about this game, you can not depend on those NPC telling you what to do. Do some research on how to finish the quest, old players post their experience on how to complete their missions and quest.It's fun, you won't notice the time that flies fast.

For starting a new account, this is easy. For expanding an existing account it takes a little more effort. I almost returned this until I tried:In the PlayOnline Viewer, instead of hitting PLAY, choose CONTENT ID and then under EXPANDED SERVICES choose REGISTER ID. Login once again, the same as always, and select an Expansion or Scenario that you have not yet registered. Hit NEXT and you will be able to enter a registration code. This is on the back of the QUICK MANUAL. Just one code for everything. Once you register one, you will have the option to register everything else at once that is still unregistered. (I can't get to this again because I now have everything registered, but it is ONE SESSION registration or something like that.) You will not need to enter the registration number again, it will simply pick everything and let you agree to register all. And that's it. Everything to date is registered and active.

My wife ordered this game for me on our Amazon account because I couldn't find it in any stores and we got it for a great price. I love this game. It has everything I was hoping it had, for it being an older game. I've always been a loyal FF fan and I found a download for a tester to see if it worked on our current computer before I bought the game...and it works beautifully. I'm really happpy with this purchase and it arrived before scheduled so that was a plus. This game was released several years ago but recently re-released with updates and it's really fun. I go to the official website to learn about the game and read forums if I have questions. I have no complaints about this game, it is exactly what I expected and wanted. I also search info on AllAkazam for game help and stuff to read on the game.Sweet game!

Final Fantasy XI is one of the best Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Games of all time and this is a great set to buy for those looking to get an expansion set or to start playing for the first time. This does include all expansions as of May 2011 but does not include the three most recent add-on scenarios, so beware! Square-Enix's official site for Final Fantasy XI, playonline.com, makes no mention of the newer ultimate collection in their Online Store section, I guess it's too much to ask for them to update their site now a-days. If you are looking for a good disk-in-box set of Final Fantasy XI, this is a great answer at a great price.

I just wanted to clarify that the Add-ons in this collection can be applied to an existing account, contrary to what another reviewer stated. The Ultimate Collection comes with a single registration code (unlike previous releases that included a separate code for each expansion).When you apply the code to an existing account, just choose an add-on that you haven't previously registered. After you complete the registration for one of the expansions/add-ons, playonline will automatically detect any other expansions/add-ons that the code can be used for.In my case I was able to register A Crystalline Prophecy, A Moogle Kupo d'Etat , and A Shantotto Ascension. I did not have to pay $10 for each add-on. The only thing you can't do is apply the code to a 2nd account, even if you didn't register all the expansions on the 1st account.

this is the most purfict game for ppl that get bord r even if u can afourd to go out much long as i have internet and 13 dollars a mouth u can play this game i been plaing for like 5 years now and i love it get to meet new ppl and make friends . oh ya thank about 13 dollars mouth for fun can bet that can u . just rember one thank real life come first so dont get to hooked lol . it realy easy to get hook on this game trust me but long as u now u got to take care of real life first u be ok and makes game more fun to .

awsome game if you like that kinda stuff a little slow to start but you get used to it fast
