Outstanding illustrations. Storyline Captivating.

This particular author is well known for her outstanding illustrations. I picked this book for that reason, but it also appeared that the narrative was sufficiently simplified for a young 6-year old. Mostly, it was though there are a few Geek mythology names that could be modified by an adult reader to help the storyline run smooth (at least until the child gets the hang of the story and wants you to read it again). In any case, the grandson LOVED the illustrations, the rich paper, and the great essence of King Midas. It really made him think and talk about the meaning.
