Measurements not as represented
I purchased this months ago. It seemed overly tight by 1/4-1/2 inches on the widths ordered. I struggled putting it on the light fixture and did not return it to Amazon because I feared I would break it. Soon after the light itself begin going off then on when the power was on. Turns out this was because the item was so tight it was crimping the fluorescent bulbs and vibration in the laundry room caused the light to fail. We put up with this for a few months and I finally removed this cover. The light works fine but I need a now light cover. It is my opinion that the manufacturer may have poor quality control. I will buy a replacement.

Exact replacement for my garage light cover that I lost years ago that was produced in 2007.

Close but no cigar
The diffuser was fine. I had to return it because the size was too big to fit my fixture. I needed the size to be a smaller width. The diffuser was 8 1/2 inches and I needed 6 3/4 inches in width.
