It's a Mickey Mouse Clock, but not much more.
***UPDATE 11/23/21***Purchased 9/20/21, as of 11/23/21 the original batteries still going strong. That's 2 months. We all know that the second generation of this clock will have Alexa built-in, with a built-in mic and speaker, and A/C powered. Basically all that this is, is a Mickey Mouse wall clock which in itself is not necessarily a bad thing. Who doesn't like Mickey Mouse? Or Mickey Mouse merchandising? Thus far, the batteries have lasted 2 weeks and going, the clock has kept the connection to the Alexa gadget, the time is accurate, and the lights are pretty. There is reflection that can make the clock face hard to see, and the Mickey Mouse clock hands being white in color, and the clock face also being white in color, makes the clock hands hard to distinguish as to where the hands are pointing. The hands or Mickey Mouse "gloves" should have been painted black. Or a bright yellow. As far as the batteries go, I plan on trying one of those A/C 4-AA cell, battery adaptors. Then, simply plugging the clock into the A/C wall outlet. If that works, that should take care of replacing the batteries all the time issue. I had planned on trying this clock, then retuning it to Amazon, however it is a very nice clock and a Mickey Mouse clock too boot, so It is worth keeping. As far as complaints about the price, most every Mickey Mouse Disney logo clocks will cost more than any basic non Disney wall clock. PS. Setup went smoothly with the Echo Dot. Both units (Echo and the clock) reestablished their connection effortlessly when or if power to either unit was interrupted.

Great clock with a couple of amazing features!
I loved the mickey mouse image with hands pointing to the time and the fact that it syncs with Alexa. Setup was a breeze. Once you sync it with Alexa it sets up the time automatically and you don't need to do anything. The cool feature about this clock is that whenever you set up a timer with Alexa, the lights on the clock will light up to show you how much time is left. For example, if you set up a 15-minute timer, then the lights between 1 and 3 o'clock (15 minutes) will light up and the time goes down, the lights will reflect the new minute count. This goes on until the last minute where all the lights on the clock will light up and the countdown to zero will occur. These are the ONLY functions of this clock (it tells the time, syncs the time with Alexa so its accurate and you don't need to set it yourself, and it has a light display to show you timer status). If you buy this clock with this in mind, you won't be disappointed that it does not do other 'smart' functions. For me though, its awesome!

I LOVE this clock!
For us, this clock was the easiest set up ever. Took it out of the box, put batteries in and told our echo to set up the wall clock. The hands started moving and within about 30 seconds the time was set.I don't really find the hands hard to read at all. Until I read some of the reviews I didn't even notice the similar mickey hands to background color. I love the color, or lack of it. My kitchen is somewhat neutral in color with splashes of color added by artwork and smaller accessories. This clock matches perfectly with it's neutral background color and red mickey pants. I love Disney, and this clock definitely says Disney but it's subtle and tasteful. It works just as it should. It's easy to see when glancing up at the clock, and echo announcing the end of timer is good when I'm out of the room. I did have the echo turn up the volume of the announcement so it could be heard from the living room.I read the negative reviews and I didn't have any of those issues. For me, the clock is perfect, and for under $40, I felt it was a really good deal.

Works OK/but had to troubleshoot when I changed batteries the 1st time
I have had this clock since Oct 2020. I just had to change the batteries for the first time. It works in sync with my Echo Show. It acts as a visual timer when you ask alexa to set one, e.g., set a timer for 30 minutes and provides a red LED countdown for last 60 seconds. Mickey also looks great. When I changed my batteries, the clock stopped and wouldn't respond to setup using Echo Show device. I followed instructions to 'forget device' in bluetooth and tried again several times, but without luck. I opened bluetooth on my MacBook to see if the clock was listed in the available bluetooth devices and it was, so I knew it was broadcasting. I tried to reset the clock, but the 5 button push did nothing. I then unplugged my Echo Show waited 30 seconds and plugged it back in. I then went into settings on the Alexa app and toggled off 'discover bluetooth devices' and then back on. I asked Alexa to set up my echo wall clock and put it into pairing mode. It was then discovered instantly. Not sure what exact issue was, but powering off Echo seemed to help. Seems to work again. Hope I don't have to go through that every time it needs new batteries.
