They're bright, they work, and no batteries! Instructions/modes detailed in review below.
These are working great for me. I put them underneath 4 of my cabinets in the kitchen. I have them on the motion sensor mode and I was afraid they wouldn't pick up the motion since there's a bit of a lip on the bottom of the cabinets that they are tucked behind. But they work! They detect me even walking into the kitchen and being 5-10 feet away. The best part is there are no batters to replace or charge. Just plug them into a USB charger and recharge. I do it at night (1 every night) probably once every 2 weeks or so.The instructions that come with them have the craziest, smallest, impossible to read type. I finally took a picture of the instructions with my phone so I could enlarge and actually read it. To help you out here are the basic modes and instruction:--To power on and off, press the button on the side for 3 seconds--On the same button, there are different things depending on which side/end of the button you press. If you're looking at the light with the bank of LEDs facing you, the top end of the long button controls the basic modes. The bottom end changes the light output (I think there's 3 options here).--To switch modes (controls how and when it turns itself on), just press the top end of the button again up to 3 times for the following options (it cycles through these as you press the button and you can see a colored light that lets you know what mode you're on):Mode 1 (Green): Motion & Light sensor (I've not used this but would be great inside a closet)Mode 2 (Blue): Only motion sensor (this is what I use - works great)Mode 3 (Red): Always onTo switch between levels of brightness, use the bottom end of the button. They each come with a magnet that you affix (they have strong 3M double-sided tape already on it) to wherever you are putting this (or they will also just work on any surface that can take a magnet). Then when you need to recharge, just pull it right off the magnet, recharge, and then pop it back on when you're done. Couldn't be easier. If you're using it for a closet, you'll probably be able to go much longer in between charges...and if you do like I do, with the motion sensor in a high traffic place like the kitchen, it'll wear down more quickly, and probably even quicker if you're in and out of your kitchen every 5 minutes. In that case, I'd probably be tempted to just opt to turn them on or off each time as needed.Would definitely buy these again, and might for some closets.

~ Easy to Use and Install, Bright, Great for Dark Closets and Under Cabinets, Recommended! ~
I purchased this two-pack of 50-LED Light Rechargeable Motion Sensor Closet Lights for our front coat closet, which is very deep. I installed one of the lights right inside the closet and the other back in the back of the closet for when I need to find the coats we don't often wear or the other items stored in the back. These work great. I have them set on the brightest mode and for motion sensor only. This is a wonderful answer to a old and lasting problem. Historic home problems. This is a repeat purchase because I absolutely LOVE these light-bringing wonders that I can install by myself and not bother my husband with. Great product! These 18-LED Dimmer USB Rechargeable Motion Sensor Closet/Under Cabinet Lights are just what I needed. They are super bright and very easy to install, even for this non-technical Nana! I used a couple under a cabinet in the kitchen where we always wish we had just a bit more light and they're very helpful there. The other two are going in a hallway closet upstairs. There are no lights in any of our closets here, as we have an old historic home. These work great and we are so happy to have them. It is highly likely that I will be back for more of these in the future. Recommended!!

Great as nightlights, not so much as a daylight to brighten a room.
The lighting in my kitchen isn’t great, and I was hoping to install these under the cabinets to really brighten the whole place up. Unfortunately, they really aren’t that bright. Don’t get me wrong, they are still bright enough that you can kind of see it on during the day, but it’s not enough that it’s noticeable without putting your hand directly under it. It doesn’t brighten the kitchen what so ever.I’ve added a photo of it on (1st) and a photo with it off (2nd). Pictures taken midday, no other lights on. You can it’s barely (if at all) noticeable. (One of the spare lights is on the counter and is off in both pictures, the one I turned on is under the cabinet. Sorry for the confusion). However, if you are looking for a nightlight or something that just adds a bit more light to be able to see a bit better, these are great. The motion sensor seems to work well.I’ve only just gotten them today, so I’m not sure about how long they’ll work (I read some reviews saying it doesn’t hold a charge after a few weeks). I’ll update this review if it turns out to be not long.

Nice and bright
They are very bright and once charged, they last a long time. I love how you can recharge them, but, they are otherwise magnetic and wireless while in use. Great product!

Decent light but they could do better
This light has the same problems so many of these lights have. It has excellent motion detection but has two serious flaws. First, there is no way to adjust the length of time the light stays on. Wanted to put it in the garage but usually need more than 20 seconds of light. It will frequently will shut off before I am ready. Second, the light sensor is poorly adjusted. This light will turn on in a room even though the room is still too bright for this to make any difference. Unless the room is very bright with direct sunlight, this light comes on with motion. That makes the battery drain significantly faster and requires frequent recharging. Also, the 3M tape mounts it very nice, but since it is not removable you will have to put the charger on an extension cord and bring it to the light unless there happens to be a plug near by.
