A great replacement to a keyboard I loved. Works like a charm

First off, the product works flawlessly. All the bad reviews have to do with people not realizing you have to have fresh batteries. I'm not a gamer but I realize wireless anything (like gaming controllers for example) won't work if the juice is low. To me it's kind of obvious, without taking a dig at frustrated customers who this didn't occur to. That said, the keyboard is quiet and very soft touch. Has a very nice feel to it. The layout is its own thing and takes a few days to fully acclimate to. That being said, the mouse is really important to turn off if you're not using it. Also, the wireless USB transmitter is located inside the mouse when you buy new. It took me a minute to find it. It's the same color as the plastic the mouse is made of so it was hard to spot at first. My best suggestion would be to invest in some rechargeable batteries. You need four AAA total. I've seen a lot of reviews where people bashed on it because they simply didn't take time to think the problem through and commit to determining what the real issues might be beyond perceptive intelligence (or the lack thereof). A lot of bang for the buck. Well worth the $20 odd dollars you spend to not be tethered with wires.

I am very glad I didn't believe all the reviews of this keyboard and mouse . I am not the best typist nor do I use the computer as much as other people, but after my son destroyed the mouse and key board that originally came with my hp computer,playing his games, I bought this one as a replacement, as far as the battery life I don't know, but it hooked up and works perfect with my hp computer. That's why I made sure to buy this one because the computer I have is hp and I had no problems with compatibility the mouse works just as good as the old one did when it was working, so for the price I have to say I am very happy.But as I had mentioned earlier I do not know that much about computers all I know is that it works just as they said it would and I am happy.

Received my replacement in 2 or 3 days after requesting it. The initial unit seemed to operate fine for the first 2 days but on day 3 neither the wireless mouse nor K-board would function properly. I swapped everything all around trying to determine which component was faulty but could not make them work. Had to reinstall my old wired mouse and wireless key board to use computer. If this unit continues to work like it is right now, all is well!

I received this today and I am using it to type this, I am a hunt and peck computer operator so I don't watch the screen while I'm typing, I am very happy with this keyboard and mouse so far and rushed over here to tell everybody how happy I am. The keyboard is very light which is great for me since I keep it on a table next to me and only bring it to my lap when I need it, the mouse is small and works great and the dongle it tiny. I bought two of them, one for the desktop and one for the laptop which I use to boor my wife with stuff I find fascinating by connecting to the TV with an HDMI cable. I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first, I might not have bought it even though the price was so low, a great value for me so far.

Noticing all the bad reviews I was rightfully skeptical about this. It does work really well though, my PC is very close so I have no reception loss and it feels good, no issues regarding the quality or build. The mouse is a little small but I got used to it quickly. So my guess is that the early units must have been defective or I'm just lucky. It also comes with batteries so that was nice. The biggest puzzling feature that I have with this product is the box it was sent in. Amazon sent it in a box that could fit two suitcases. Not sure if someone was just trolling at the distribution center but it was a bit excessive but that's not HP's fault.

Couldn't ask it to be any easier, or at a better price, and it even came with name brand batteries.This never happens. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS PURCHASE! I WAS NOT NOT PAID FOR THIS REVIEW. I am a very satisfied customer and when I feel I have received something at a better value than expected I go out of my way to help that seller by doing a great review. I have an HP laptop and wanted to purchase a wireless mouse and keyboard that would easily adapt. Wrong. This product is junk. If you're floating your mouse cursor over a web page and try using the scroll button, the page goes up and down and won't stop until you hold down the "click" button and hold it steady on the web page vertical scroll bar. The mouse functions sometimes and other times it'll just ignore what you've clicked on and go haywire. The keyboard skips letters...there's no easy way to describe this other than imagine typing out a document, focusing on the document you're typing from and then peeking at what you've typed only to find 1 or 2 characters that actually were typed...It doesn't matter how many times you go into the properties to "reset" the keyboard and mouse functions to get them to work properly, it is no help whatsoever. This product has never worked the way it's supposed to work. At the same time I purchased this product, I also purchased the Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse combo (3000) and have had zero issues compared to this HP product. I'm throwing it in the trash when I get home tonight and driving to Best Buy to purchase another Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse combo.
