This resource is highly recommended for the designer who is ready to get to work and get paid by clients in the luxury market who require a high touch white glove service. The systems within this book holds industry experience spanning over 20 years and will save you so much time and money! It’s no secret, your standard operating procedures are what makes or breaks you in this attention to detail industry. Checklists are so granular and each design phase is detailed, providing a seamless recipe for success within your design firm! Your design education could not teach you this invaluable off the bench and onto the field - in trenches - on the court experience and this resource is well worth the investment!

This is an "interior design bible" for everyone in the field: from a first year design student to a busy successful design professional who has practiced for many years. I found it tremendously helpful for myself as a recent graduate and a starting professional. This is not just a one time read. I keep this book every day on my desk. Very important forms and check-lists from "Interior Design Productivity Toolbox" are my number one go to materials that save my time and keep me organized on a daily basis.

This is a super practical guide on how to manage an interior design project. I recently started my own business and have been completely overwhelmed knowing where to start when it comes to getting more organized and streamline my processes. This basically breaks down a broad design process into actionable steps with lots of tips and advice. I just finished plugging these steps into a project management software in order to implement into my day to day. It's a great quick reference tool as well for best practices in drawings and approach to specific types of rooms you may be asked to design. Best money I've spent since starting my business. I'll be using this for years to come!

My only complaint is the font is so small and light, it makes reading VERY hard, especially for older eyes. I can't read it with my normal readers unless I am in the very brightest of light. I have only read through the first chapter because it is so hard to see the words! I flipped through the book; it comes with a passcode to a website with workflows/checklists for each room/project - residential and commercial - which is nice. I'm going to have to invest in a bright book light to be able to read the rest of the book. Publisher should have taken this into consideration before printing something so small. I'd say read the fine print...if you can see it!

What a great find! So happy I discovered this book! The author very generously and candidly shares her interior design best practices which she developed over the last few decades! Such a refreshing moment in this - often so secretive - industry! Anyone doing interior design - no matter how seasoned - will find something for themselves here. I officially cannot go to my office without this book. As an interior designer, it is so easy to get disorganized in so many aspects of the job.This "Productivity Toolbox" is truly helping me stay organized. I am currently working on 2 ADA bathrooms, and find myself constantly flipping through the checklists and diagrams to make sure I did not miss any details. This book is Interior Design 101 with all of the information you need to succeed in your business! Buy it!

This is the most useful and complete interior design book I've ever seen! It's filled with awesome checklists, tips, contracts etc... It's absolutely worth its price tag, and a MUST HAVE for anyone wanting to open their own interior design company. Highly recommend!!

This book is fantastic. Comprehensive notes and lists to keep you moving through tasks quickly and efficiently. And they are all also available online with your purchase. Great resource book.
