Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Drizzy Ice Cream Playset Featuring Drizzle Compound & 6 Non-Toxic Colors

Both of my kids (ages 2 and 6) enjoyed this toy when we were home on a sick day. Ironically, I would say that 3 to 5 is probably the target age group. My kids had a blast making and decorating "ice cream" creations, and played with those creations for several days after. There are enough supplies for them to use it at least one more time (if not more). I would definitely recommend as a relatively neat rainy day activity. The chocolate and strawberry sauces can get a bit messy but were super fun for my kids.

My 2 1/2 yr old grandson loved this. We played with it all day and many ice cream cones and sundaes. The topping is messy and does require supervision. It takes longer to harden before you can peel off than it states in the description. The topping leaves a stain on the play-doh. No worries though, because the play-doh colors get all mixed together anyway from making striped cones. This toy will require new play-doh often. I had to hold the base of the dispenser while my grandson pulled down on the handle. Overall it was a great hit and worth the money. I covered the floor in with an old sheet before we began.

We love all the colors this set has. The special drizzle compound is easy to clean up once it has had some to dry a bit. It can get sticky though. Our granddaughter plays with it every time she comes over and offers us "desert". It keeps her busy for at least an hour. I think she really enjoys it.

I purchased this ice cream playset as a gift for my 10 year old granddaughter. She has been using it on a regular basis and it has held up very well with no breaking or damage. She does knead the dough well to soften it before using it to make "ice cream". Also, she does not use the "drizzle" because she did not want to mix the colors or possibly stain her white dough. The price was very reasonable and she is happy with it.

These are very messy so if that’s not your thing (especially when doing it with little kids) this may not be for you. The instructions said not to use so much that it goes over the edge which is laughable because kids are going to squeeze those bottles like there’s no tomorrow and get that messy goo everywhere. Also note once the sauce is out that’s it, it’s kind of a one and done for drizzle. But the toy itself is great lots of little play doh stencils and easy to operate! My 2 and 4 year old loved it.

I originally ordered this for my 6 yr-old son’s birthday, but my 3 yr-old son loved it as well! It came with various plastic ice cream cups and spoons that are sized just right for little fingers. It was easy for my sons to push down the handle to dispense the ice cream out of the machine. There are many different fun designs on the ice-cream maker where you can push the play doh on it to make cute things such as candy pieces, a rainbow, etc. The part my sons loved the most were the ‘syrups’ it came with. They actually drizzled like the real thing, to make their ice cream creations perfect! I also ordered (from Amazon) the Play Doh cash register, and my sons are having a great time pretending to purchase ice creams from each other. I definitely will order this (and the cash register) from Amazon again because it’s so giftable!

Pros: Fun, exciting and the kids freaked out when we opened the package. They loved that you could make sprinkles and it was just overall a great looking set. Cons: They kids can NOT press the main thing down to make the ice cream (playdoh) come out. It was not easy to work, not easy to clean. The sprinkles were awesome and all the elements but it mixed ALL the playdoh up together and we ended up with a big mess and most of our playdoh we couldn't use again. The containers are super tiny so you get one use out of them. Playdoh is always fun but I think they need to rework this particular item to make it Kid-User-Friendly!

So upon seeing this my 3 y/o son is obsessed with ice cream so added it to my cart thinking nothing of it, christmas day it's one of the first things he wanted to play with okay cool no worries, making breakfast & I come out to help them clean off their table to eat... & Was met with an oozing mess... I thought the syrup bottles were fake.. but it's a watered down slime. They loved it.. It took a minute to clean up too. 😅
