I bought this shoe bag because, previously, I would store my shoes by putting a rubberband around a pair and tossing them in a bin. This bag keeps my shoes cleaner and more organized. I bought one for dress shoes and sandals, and have one on the way for sneakers, etc. While the bag will not hold my bigger hiking boots (I dont think anyways, I haven't tried) it nicely holds a pair of shoes in each slot. Initially I would put the shoes, soles together, toe to heel and try and put them in the slot as a pair. I have found it easier to put them into the same slot but one at a time, still soles facing each other and toe to heel. The bag is sturdy and I expect it will last a long time. I can see where it would be great for travel, especially by car. I will probably still use shoe bags for airline travel so I could maximize space by putting the shoe bags in corners and unused spaces.

We took this on our 8 day cruise, and of course, I took quite a few pairs of shoes. I was able to fit 13-15 pairs of shoes in this bag. The slots for the shoes are big enough that you can double and even triple some pairs of shoes (flats, flip-flops, etc.) My heels fit in one section as a pair...however, my Volitile flips, were only 1 to a section. Good thing I only took one pair like that.The bag is made of vinyl and I was afraid it would give or the strap would break, as loaded as I had it, but it held up nicely.

I really like this product. Gave 4 stars because some of my shoes for women, I could only fit 1 shoe per slot but still would purchase! Nicely made but would love to have an attached outside strap to side over luggage handle and that would be great help.

I ordered this bag because I was taken a lot of shoes with me on 20 day trip to Europe and I wanted something to organize everything in one place. I already had the packing cubes orgAnized in the same way. Since it was the summer I managed t o place 8 pairs of sandals and loafers in this bag. I could probably stick more into it if I wanted. It is such a great organizer that fits perfectly in the suitcase sideways. You can just take out the b agreekgirl of shoes and leave as is in the hotel room. That is what I did since we kept on traveling to different places through out our trip. So I just left the shoes in the bag. Less of a mess that way. Also you can use bag as a carry on since I know shoes can weigh a suitcase down and mine in this bag weight 11 pounds. Or you can put this bag in your carry on suitcase. I love this shoe bag and think it was a great idea. This bag is a nice compliment to my backing cubes. You can even use this bag for storing your shoes. That is what I intend to do come the fall. Don't get me wrong I was skeptical at first after reading some of the negative reviews thinking I was going to have the same experiences but I was highly surprised and delighted at all of t h e things that this little bag can be used for and how handy it has become.

I have had this for years. I use it all the time on our road trips. It fits all the shoes I need to take and I can fit my curling iron in the middle of it. Its still in great shape.

GREAT IDEA (albeit not a new one). Perfect size, and conveniently holds 8 pairs of shoes.A competitor's product only holds 6-- but they are the only two on the market.The problem is with this product, is that the thin plastic used to make this IS CHEAP CRAP! The handles tear-off with the slightest of tugs.This would normally be a $8 - $10 in a variety store considering the poor quality of materials... for $20 product, the Miles Kimball company could have had the Chinese use a decent canvas that would hold up-- rather than a cheap plastic where some stores use a better non-tearable plastic in their own shopping bags than this piece of crap is made of.Miles Kimball company gets a "A" for product design and usability, and an "F" for quality.Miles Kimball-- here's a hint-- sell this product for $9.95, and then make a quality premium one out of canvas-- which I would gladly pay $25.00 for.

Smaller than pictured. You can really only fit one shoe (not a pair) per pocket. Works well enough, and survived going through airport security. Sturdy enough.

I'm traveling in a van for about half a year, and at first I struggled to figure out where to store my shoes. Then I got this bag and the problem was solved! All the shoes I wanted to have with me fit great into the slots, and my hiking boots fit in the middle of the bag, between the two facing sets of slots. My shoes are women's size 9.5 and range from Keens to walking shoes, so they're not exactly the delicate little pumps shown in the photos, and yet there's plenty of room for them. I wish the bag had come in more appealing colors, but other than that, it was a terrific buy for van life!
