Very helpful though I have to add my own simplified how-to's b/c often the most basic things are either assumed or buried someplace. That said, the book is easy to read and contains tons of info. Definitely worth the money.

Clear, reasonably basic, and comprehensive (so far). The book is a 'genius', but I'm not so I have to do a LOT of re-reading to fully understand how to use/understand certain features. The book is a good place to start, but I am curious if a "Dummies" book would have been any better.

Well written and easy to understand especially for people who have not used a Smart phone in the past. Highly recommend to get it. It has helped me to learn fast how to use my new Smart Phone.

I am so new at what and how to use the iPhone that it i very informative. But sometimes I get overwhelmed with the information/functions of the phone that I have to put it down and come back latter.

After purchasing my new 5S phone, I needed some specific guidance on how to perform certain functions. This handy book is my new go to resource. I use it all the time and it's packed with great information.

Although I ordered "iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C Portable Genius", Amazon shipped me "iPhone for Dummies 7th addition", which included the 5S, 5C, and iOS7. I originally wanted to order this "iPhone for Dummies" book, but the 5S (7th addition) was not available at the time of order.

Clear and easily understood by one who was unfamiliar with the iPhones. Text is understandable and the illustrations are clear and helpful. Since these iPhones and their OS are more complex than first appears a systematic tutorial fills a real need. Likely not needed by those with a good understanding of previous iPhone models and OS.

Written very well. covers it all. Have gotten a number of very good tips already. I am very happy with this book. I know it will help me learn all the features of the iPhone.
