These filters are cut perfectly to fit the cascade units. Price is much lower than the cascade units and remember, the green, black and blue filters are reusable (after they're cleaned). The filters are nasty by the time I change them, so they do work.

I saw a lot of reviews saying/showing they were too small - but I took a chance and I lucked out. They fit my Cascade 1000 perfectly (snug even). They're definitely thinner than the ones that came with my Cascade, but considering the price difference - two of these stacked is thicker than one overpriced name brand replacement. Definitely worth the gamble to buy in my opinion - even if I'd ended up with the small ones, I had a gameplan to cut up a couple to fill the gaps and just buy from someone else next time - really glad I didn't have to. Will definitely buy more from this vendor if the quality keeps up.Another thing, they came just loosely packed and wrapped in a plastic bag and some people have complained - but I found them to be well wrapped and bundled as they were - not everything needs a box.

Luv that you get the 3types of filter pads Precut to fit and ready to go. Floss pads are on the thin side but allows room to double up . It does a good job of keeping my turtle tank clean.
