Yes, my cat attempts to eat this every time. I fixed it by putting some of his old litter in it and some of the droppings from his old box.

Q: how much litter do you get? shipping says 6lbs, but price seems high for that.

It is 6lbs. But since it is flushable, if you scoop and flush often it doesn't smell at all. The 6lb bag lasts about 7-10 days for us with 2 cats.
