Arrived on time, and as expected.

I have been using ketotrak for over a month now. They have worked consistently, only errored out one time (due to not enough blood onto the strip). I was worried due to the cheaper price per strip vs other brands that I would be duped into purchasing a faulty product. But I have to say my experience has been pretty good. Sidenote I take 10-15 strips from the 50 pk and put it in a separate airtight container that I test from so as not to overexposed to moisture, not sure if that matters. Overall I'm so happy I chose to take a chance on this brand. I can check my ketones daily vs every other day due to the cost. Also, the use of a blood meter over urine strips finally gives me an actual number and keeps me motivated.

PRO: I like the ease of use: plug in the coding tab and you've completed the setup. This is a much nicer experience than other meters whose coding and cross-checking can actually cause the meter not to function. Yes, it might have been my fault somehow, but all I wanted was a reading and I couldn't get it. PRO: I've done some minor comparisons with other meters (I have four) and their readings match within 10% to 20%, which is a pretty good result with this sort of inexpensive meter. I don't really need dead-nuts accuracy; I just want to know if I'm in ketosis and high-middling-low. CON: I would like less expensive test strips, but these are already the least expensive so I guess strip cost isn't a con.

When you are a type two diabetic and maintaining a good blood sugar by lifestyle and a ketogenic diet, then you become fat adapted. That pretty much means your body is efficient at using ketones, so using urinalysis strips does not really give an accurate measurement. This Meter is no more difficult than a blood glucose meter, but it is a little more complicated in that it does require a chip calibrated to the test strips. Forewarned that the test strips are more expensive. I won’t be testing frequently, only when I know I have had a decently long fast and want to assure myself that I am in ketosis. The meter works very well, and I plan to use it to maintain a positive attitude.

This little meter works fantastically. Strips costs a lot less than my other meter brand . Great value for the $ would recommend to anyone who wants to track ketones.

The kit was great, but can't find refill for test strips. Does anyone know if other test strips work with the meter?

I am a ketogenic dieter for a while and regularly check my blood ketones. I have tried some other similar products and found this one more accurate than the others and the strips need very little blood to work comparing to other similar ones.

Wrong ones for my device, did not bother returning, I am sure they are good for proper device
