I had been searching all over for a Microsoft brand charger, I bought a used one like new from amazon and it was 70+ with tax, and it did not work. I had to fumble with the cord to get it to work. I was scared to go off brand because of previous reviews. I have tested this charger multiple times, it does not make my mouse jump, the quality of the charger is similar to the Microsoft brand. I appreciate the travel case, it makes it convenient, easy for storage and protects my charger from harm. I read reviews saying that it would over heat, I checked my charger while charging and when done charging, it never changed in temperature. It was mildly warm but never hot. I also find that it is charging my laptop faster compared to the Microsoft one I purchased and the Microsoft one was actually heating up my laptop and the charger was hot as well. I highly recommend if you need to save some money, I will update as I continue to use.

Only have had a couple months, but so far it works as good as the original - yet more compact, and - I have a feeling - sturdier in the long run. Let's face it, the MSFT originals don't last very long. Hoping this is better - but at the lower cost of these it's not that big a deal. Definitely great for traveling with its nice little included pouch.

As of currently, the charger has been holding up. I've been pretty rough with it and it seems like it'll be my go-to charger for my laptop. I'm more concerned about a harsh pinch point near the charger itself. The charging port works perfectly, the attachment is great for when I don't want to tangle myself with the other wires, and the best part, the USB charging port works, unlike my Microsoft one which broke. The battery pack itself does heat up quickly, make sure you ventilate it, put it up on a table or somewhere cool and you should be good to go.

When I bought 2 of these I thought I was buying a replacement Microsoft power supply for a Surface Pro 8. They are from a company called KSW Kingdo. I should have read more carefully and thought about ANYTHING from Microsoft being that inexpensive. They came the next day with a cute little zip case, and come with an interesting attachment that connects directly to a wall socket instead of a cord. The Surface likes them fine, and other than both of them working perfectly out of the box I have no long term concept of reliability. Alls I DO know is that the one that came from Microsoft failed in less than a year, so they don't have a high bar to beat as to longevity. Also, I did order an actual Microsoft version that won't be here for almost a month. When it gets here, I'll bet it doesn't have a supportive statement on it like the folks at KSW Kindo, which is... I purchased the 'Surface Pro Surface Laptop Charger 65W [Updated Version], Compatible with Microsoft Surface Pro X Pro 7 Pro 6 Pro 5 Pro 4 Pro 3 Surface Laptop 3 2 1 Surface Book Surface Go 2 1 with Travel Case' for my Surface Pro 7. I had purchased the similar charger from the same company for my Surface 2 and been positively impressed with its performance and design. So far this power adapter has been just as good. The form factor isn't much larger than the charger that comes from the OEM. The bag is a nice addition, though having a zipper that only runs around two sides makes it a little unwieldy. Having the zipper only on one side or extending to three sides would be much more ergonomic. But compared to the price and availability of the OEM offering makes this a decent value.

It lasted 8 months to be more precise. I'm a student and I used it on a daily basis. I always made sure the cable was tucked in neatly and not tangled. The cable near the body of the charger was frayed and stopped charging today. If you are getting this charger, you might want to put something to prevent it from fraying as the durability of the cord is not up to par. Edit: The seller reached out to me after my previous review and honored the satisfaction warranty. Sent me a new unit the next day I responded. The communication was incredible and I was satisfied with their solution.

This is the second charger I needed to buy for my MS surface Pro X. I am so happy with this one. It comes with a zippered case to hold it and extra plug in types depending on my charging needs. Awesome quality and charges quickly! I couldn't be happier and recommend this to everyone.

My OE charger died suddenly the other day, so I had to use my dedicated travel charger to replace it. I have to jump and go at a moments notice, so I keep a bag packed and needed to get another travel charger. This one is great; long cables, works fine and best of all has it's own compact travel pouch. I can't speak to it's durability or longevity yet, but I'm really liking it for the purpose.
