My First Human Body Book

Perfect for teaching kids about the human anatomy

Great book to teach young kids about the body and how it works. It teaches all of the different organs and functions of the body in easy to understand terms with full color illustrations.

This is my second time purchasing this book. I bought it for my older homeschooler and loved it, and I just bought another for my younger student. Clear pictures, easy to understand information, fun to color and learn. Dover books are awesome. They have such a great variety and I love that they are fun and engaging. My kids like them just as much as I do. Highly recommend. Note: Like many people, I rely heavily on Amazon reviews before making almost any purchase, online or in brick-and-mortar stores. I am always honest with my reviews. If I love something, I shout it from the rooftops. And if I hate it, I have no problem telling you that too. This was a Well illustrated and well defined book on the body. Had allowed the kids to color various parts of the body as well But I found it to be a little to 'dry' I say this because I have read better books in this subject The others were a little more creative bUT for the price and the material being learned it is a good book!! So if you have a budding doctor in the house or just someone to help teach the human body parts to this is a GOOD BUY

I bought this book for my four year-old granddaughter who’s interested in medical subjects this book is very educational and even a grown-up can learn from it.

WOW! What a great book! This will be a perfect companion to our Human Body Unit study. My boys like to color something while they are listening to me teach the lesson...it helps them stay attentive while having something to do with their hands. I'm homeschooling 3 boys at once with this study, and this book is a great coloring activity for all 3 of them, ages 10, 8, and 5, plus it's detailed and descriptive without being too basic or too much!!! And you can't beat the price. I bought only one at first because you couldn't "look inside" it on Amazon, so I wanted to make sure it was school material, but now I just ordered 2 more so each kid has their own book. When they're done, they are going to have a very nicely colored workbook that they can look back and reference with. Great homeschool purchase!!!

I feel like this would be fairly good for kids but certainly not something that you would have in a school it is way too flimsy for that if it's a parent getting it for their kid and going over it with their kid I'm sure it will be fine but it's not very durable and it just gives me easily damaged vibes very thin there's not much going on in there

Simple enough to explain things but detailed enough to make it meaningful. We've used it already with our 4 year old granddaughter to talk about how your body can tell healthy from unhealthy food, what happens inside when you get hurt on the outside, what your lungs look like and why your chest rises and falls when you breathe - all the daily things kids think about but might not question. It even helped us explain our dog's breathing problem to make it understandable. Good illustrations, not too 'cartoony' but not so realistic they're alarming. Would definitely recommend!

Tenía mis dudas al comprar este libro por la cantidad de hojas. Son pocas pero está muy padre, muy didáctico, a mi hija le encantó y ya lo está coloreando. No puedo decir que sea adecuado para cualquier niño de edad menor a 10 años pero si a tu hijo(a) le gusta la biología y colorear, le va a encantar.

My kids loved this colouring book. It’s got a lot of detail and information. A good conversation starter for anyone want h to teach their kids about the human body.
