Boxes smashed in shipping, hardware missing for several spindles. A massive negative...
Both Amazon and 8Ten pack the spindles in the cheapest of packaging for shipping. The weight of the spindles destroys the boxes and shipping packages. Because of this, the new bolts sent with the spindles are missing. I did not buy new spindles to reinstall using rusty old bolts. I bought 12 spindles and only enough new bolts to install 4. I had to carve time out the simple repair project to chase down and buy missing hardware. A great product, except for this problem....

Good choice for inexpensive replacement
Fit: Perfect. Hardware provided: meh. Low quality bolts, too long for my application; extra credit for trying tho. Not pre-greased, but the zerk is standard and no problem to pump grease into. Drive pulley is slightly smaller than the original, so it drives the blades a tiny bit faster, and I needed to get a top drive belt that was 1" shorter. But now it's so smooth and quiet that the mower is actually enjoyable to use!

Perfect replacement.
Fit get and easy install. Mower deck hasn't been this quiet in yrs. Love that you can grease them too.

So so works but not for the long run
You get what you pay for the spindle works great. It is alreasy showing signs of bearing wear even with proper grease. It also did not come with a nut to hold the blade on so i had to get one because it was not the same as what was on my mower deck due to it being updated

Perfect replacement for 918-0241B
Excellent replacement. Happy it came with the new bolts as one of the old ones sheared off during removal. Pumped it fully of grease before installing. Happy it has the grease zerk. The price of around 50bucks is good compared to other avenues such as getting it directly from MTD. About double that price.
