I'm so mad that I didn't just buy this in an actual store! Everything works on it great but it showed up with a huge hole in the inside pocket and the way it was frayed makes it look like someone else received this item and returned it. It would not be frayed like this if it were just sewn wrong. So when you put anything in that pocket, it drops into the stuffing and internal part of the jacket. It is extremely hard to fish out keys, wallets, phones, and whatever else out of a 2-3 inch hole while trying not to mess anything up on the jacket that will cause the wires to come loose. It's currently 8 degrees in Michigan with a -5 degree windchill. The seller only gives the option for a refund with a return. This was a Christmas gift that was just opened and the hole was found immediately when trying to figure out how to work the remote. The shipping already shows it takes over a month or more to receive, so winter could be close to over before receiving a replacement. The heated feature is great for this time of year, but for such an expensive item it's best to just pay an extra $10-$20 in a store so you can check for any flaws before purchasing. Had the jacket shown up without a huge hole, or had there been an option to speak with the seller to dispute this, I would have given a 5 star review. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Find another seller or buy the jacket in a brick and morter store.

Looks great so far. Hasn’t been cold enough to truly test the heaters yet but so far is a nice coat. It fits tight in the waist for a 3x though.

Works really well... nice and warm

Runs small-try one or two sizes up. Had the black one. Battery gets in the way or falls out when working. But, it does use a regular DeWalt 20 volt battery, so it can be swapped during the day. AMZ tends to ship the wrong size; ordered an XL and got Medium. Twice.

I bought 2 jackets for my 2 boys a 3x and a 2x. The 3x is a little snug on my son. Not sure it's the jacket being too snug or my son may be closer to a 4x. Anyway they both love them. The batteries do run out fast on high. They said they don't really need the jackets on high. I did get an extra battery for each of them to make it through the day of work. They work outside and said they will sweat in the cold. They said the jackets are pretty thin, not like a normal Carhart jacket that they normally wear. From the picture they looked like they were a heavy jacket. They said the jackets although thin are very warm without the heat on. They like them because they can move about. They haven't had them long enough to review how long they will last. So far it's a go! Thumbs up!

The jacket seems decent, but sadly I wasn't able to test it. It worked for about 20 minutes, quite and never came back. I tried multiple batteries of varying capacities, move the battery to not use the extension cord, and really that's all you can do to trouble shoot. I ended up sending it back. Other then that, I wasn't crazy about the fit, it was short and wide in the body and there are no shoulder seems so it looks a bit funny.

This is a replacement for as an identical one I purchased about 10 years ago, when it finally wore out. I really like it and have used it every winter. I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada and it can get to -30 to -40 degrees below in the winter. With the battery pack plugged in, you can laugh at the cold. The switch cycles between different levels of heating, lights up inside so you know it’s on, the switch changes colour to let you know your level of heating, and the jacket and electrical connections are well made. The jacket is comfortable, light-weight, good for cooler fall wear ( when you don’t need the battery), and has a useful arrangement of zippered pockets. There is a special pouch for the battery. The fabric is tough. I don’t do outside construction work, but for walking around outside, sitting in a freezing car or sports stadium, and having the versatility of a jacket that is good for fall to the coldest winter, this jacket has worked well for me.

Sleeves are not long and the belly section is very large...as a tall man I don't even feel the heater. Unless I pull it tight around the body and skip the zipper

Box came and looked like it was already opened and once I plugged it in it did not work, used multiple batteries and still nothing
