used to wrap corners on refrigerant line set where I had to slit the insulation to use a bender. I was going to secure the tape with a cable tie but decided to leave it and test the adhesive to see if the tape would hold to itself. It did not. The memory of the tape was too strong for the adhesive and the end peeled up. If wrapping around a pipe and sticking to itself, secure with a cable tie.

I was hoping to use this to block out gaps around our window ac units and to help hold the window kit to an in room ac unit in place. Usually I use packing tape to hold the window kit in the window, but thought this would be better with some foam for insulation. Granted I don't think this is meant to be super strong adhesive, but within a day or so it completely failed and the adhesive was no longer even on the foam, I ended up covering it with packing tape after all. It will probably work on our regular in window units to seal gaps where it's not needed for strength. Hopefully it comes off the windows cleanly because we don't leave the units in year round.

I assume this is supposed to be used as weatherstripping for a camper shell or something similar, but I cut it down the middle, placed them an inch or so apart and used it for an insulating track bed for my O gauge model train. It worked absolutely perfect, was cheaper than the cork or foam track bed one can buy and the foam did not twist or turn when screwing down the track. The adhesive goes down perfectly when you peel off the vinyl and it is just the perfect thickness! It arrived quickly and in perfect condition!

Works as intended, but note that the glue on this is exceptionally sticky. That's great if you never want to remove this, but it took the paint off my door frame when I tried to remove it to reposition it. Also, note the width here. I didn't think to check how wide the tape was, and it ended up being wider than I needed -- my own fault for ignoring the dimensions of the product. I used this to line the inside of a door frame where it didn't meet flush with the door itself, in order to help soundproof my apartment. It doesn't sound proof completely, but it definitely helps.

I used this to add padding to a hot spot on my boots. Works great for that purpose. Hasn't come un-stuck.Update: Came unstuck from one boot about 10 months later. Not bad. Plenty left to re-apply.

I did not use this for its intended purpose.My desk at work is an industrial standing height table with a metal edge and bolts.I used this tape to wrap around my desk to avoid rubbing against the metal and bolts which was causing holes in my clothes.This stuff is a miracle worker!No more snags or holes in my clothes!

This stuff is incredible. I work in my garage nightly on random projects or for my businesses and have used this insulating tape for countless projects for one reason. IT NEVER COMES OFF. Wood. Check. Dusty stuff. Check. Paint. Check. Metal. Check. Drywall. Check. I have literally put this stuff on a recently sanded drywall bc I was lazy and the stuff still stuck to it and hasn’t moved to this day. I keep this around 24/7 now bc it is able to used for countless things. Good product.

Used it to wrap around foam tubes that was covering AC unit copper tubes that sit out side the house. It lost its adhesion in the heat of the sun.
