Works well if you take the time to understand basic physical principles...
I get it. It's a bottle and it's pricey, but I think at the current price point ($50-$60 depending on the cap color, for some odd reason), it's reasonable for what you are getting.Titanium doesn't leach over time, as opposed to aluminum and some stainless steel bottles, and you're guaranteed it will stick with you for the long haul. It's lightweight, you can boil water if you don't have some purification tabs on hand, and it's structurally sound. Will it dent? Mine hasn't, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a scratch appeared here or there if I used it for months and years on end because that's just something that happens with metal water bottles with regular use. If you're really, REALLY concerned with getting dents and dings over time, look into getting a Nalgene bottle that will only get scratched as opposed to dented.I liked that I got this bottle with the plastic lid as opposed to the titanium lid. I have Vargo's titanium BOT and while I love it for my camping uses, there is a distinct metal-on-metal sound when you go to turn the lid. It doesn't bother me, personally, but I know that the situation would be different with a bottle that I'd be using on a regular basis in a room with other people-- I don't think my desk mates would appreciate it if they heard a "nails on a chalkboard" sound every time I had to take a drink. The plastic cap negates that issue. When you first get it, you'll get the unmistakable "titanium echo" when you cap and uncap, but it gradually goes away with use and the acoustics are substantially subdued once it is filled with water. If you're still bothered by metal sounds, you can just grip the neck of the bottle as you go to unscrew the cap and it works to subdue the acoustics as well.I'm vexed to reviews (both on this site and Vargo's) saying they either threaded the cap incorrectly or it got loose with use. I have had neither issue. I suppose one could get the threading incorrect if they didn't bother lining up the threads and proceeded to torque on the lid like some sort of gorilla hybrid when they met resistance. This would be easily remedied with taking the extra 2 seconds of looking to ensure the threading is correct and turning lightly. If the threads are correct, it turns with no difficulty. If there is resistance (and I would assume you took the advice to turn it lightly), you won't have any issues reversing the direction of turning to correct the threading before continuing with the usual motions.Did I seriously have to give a tutorial on threading a metal water bottle? Apparently, yes, I did, because I've seen enough reviews of people complaining about it. Now that this tutorial and review has been posted, you don't have to be that person. As for a lid getting loose, or perhaps the opposite of getting stuck and forming some sort of vacuum, both are also easily remedied. If you really want to tighten it down, put your middle finger through the hole of the cap and wrap your other fingers around the cap (your fingers should be facing down toward the bottle when you have your grip) and hold it in place so you have the strength of your entire hand as opposed to a few fingertips. Use your other hand to turn the bottle in one direction as the hand gripping the cap turns in the other. Now you have a tight lid. To unscrew, do the same thing, but in reverse directions.Formed a vacuum? There's a silicone ring on the cap. If you have a small pocket knife or any sort of flat object, you can use it to work under the silicon ring and lift it away to release pressure, like how one would open a new pickle jar if they didn't want to muscle it open. Now that that's out of the way...The lid is wide enough to put ice cubes in, but since it's not insulated, it will gather some condensation on the outside. This doesn't bother me too much, but if you're a bit of a neat freak, the nature of the titanium metal will leave your thumbprints behind when it dries. Once again, it's easily remedied with cleaning, and if you have a special cylindrical brush for cleaning water bottles, it will fit inside without too much issue. All in all, it's exactly what I expected. If you're interested, I'd say go ahead and get it.

10 stars!
Wicked good bottle, get one! 10 stars! Wish it was priced lower... This bottle goes everywhere with me now! Holds the beverage of a warrior - water and does not leak. This replaced a larger double walled hydroflask. No concerns about temperature or noises, I haven't had any of the issues mentioned in other reviews... Another reviewer provided (common sense) solutions to any issues others may have had... This is a lightweight single walled container.

So far so good!
It's only the second day of using this bottle, but I love it. I had finally decided to move away from plastic Nalgene bottles for my daily use. I would have liked to use glass, but that's just too heavy and fragile to carry on my public transport commutes. I seriously considered stainless steel, but I can be really sensitive to metallic tastes. This titanium bottle with a green (my favorite color) lid is great. No tastes, very light-weight, and the bottle looks and feels good. The only thing I have to get used to is screwing on the lid. Sometimes, you get that slight "chalkboard scraping" feeling, but not so much that it bothers me. I'm debating if I should get the titanium lid to be completely plastic-free... So far so good. I'll update this review if anything comes up.

Disappointed
The bottle is poorly manufactured with an ill-fitting lid that is difficult to seat properly and sticks when fully tightened. Inconvenient if you're using the bottle on the trail.
