I've used four bottles of the grey and one jug of vanilla, mostly for miniatures and 1:6 scale figures, and both colors are impressive in their own ways. The grey really makes details pop, even tiny creases and textures in clothes or armor come through cleanly. It’s an excellent neutral tone for painting or displaying raw. The vanilla has a soft, semi-translucent look that feels more natural and is perfect for sanding and priming. The texture when cured is very smooth, not brittle or chalky. You get a nice hard finish that holds detail without flaking or cracking. I’ve never had prints split or warp, even with thin pieces. The thickness of the resin out of the bottle is just right—not watery, but not too thick either, which helps reduce bubbles and keeps flow consistent in the vat. No leakage issues with any of the bottles I've received. The caps stay tight, and I haven’t had resin creeping out during storage. I leave this in my printer’s vat for days sometimes with no curing or separation, though I stir it before reusing. Value for money? Absolutely. It’s priced lower than a lot of 8K resins, especially considering it’s water washable. That alone saves on IPA costs and cleanup time. Just rinse with water and a soft brush (included with every bottle), cure your rinse water in the sun or a good UV flashlight, and you're done. For me, this resin hits the sweet spot of quality, convenience, and affordability.

As a modeler and miniature painter this is my go to liquid resin. It’s very low odor and easy water clean up. I have used a regular liquid resin and the smell was unbearable. Don’t get me wrong this does have an odor. But it is low odor and won’t fill your whole house with a chemical smell. I don’t have a dedicated hobby room so I get my 3-D printer out and print what I want to print and then put everything up. So usually I’m running my printer on my dining room table. The older doesn’t fill the whole house. Just for informational purposes my resin 3-D printer is a Creality LD 002H. It regularly goes on sale a little cheaper here. You just have to keep watching for the price drop. Usually when I catch it a little cheaper. I’ll buy two bottles at a time. I go through a bottle every four months that doesn’t seem like a lot but I paint everything I print before I buy another bottle so I’ve been using this resin for probably a little over a year. That also tells you that it has a decent shelf life after opening. I’ve seen no deterioration in my prints from the first print out of the bottle to the last. Just make sure you keep your lid tight when you store it. But don’t tighten it too tight because the top cap sometimes will crack. Pros… Very reasonable price. Low odor. Water clean up. Comes in a variety of colors. Has a good shelf life after opening. Cons… None really. The only trouble I have had is on a few of my bottles if you tighten the cap to tight it cracks at the very top of the cap. So when you go to shake the bottled up it will leak out if it is cracked. That’s not really the product tho. That’s the packaging. Overall, if you’re into 3-D printing and using a liquid resin, this is a good reliable resin.

Pieces come out with excellent resolution, however pieces are much more fragile than standard resins, if you want to avoid using IPA it's a good choice but be careful with what you print.

I am new to resin printing. I have had a FDM printer for a long time now. I was concerned for a long time about dealing with the resin. The cost of having to have a lot of alcohol on hand, the odor, and keeping everything clean was concerning to me. Decided to try the washable resin to see how it did. I was initially concerned that this would be inferior to regular resin and although easier to deal with, would create worse prints or be more fragile than regular resin. I am glad to say my fears have been unfounded. The prints so far have come out fantastic and with great detail. I have had a few issues, but that was due to support layout (learned my lesson about using the autosupport function in my slicer, it isn't close to enough supports). The cleanup has been a breeze with just water. I also got a small ultrasonic cleaner. Works so great with just plain water. I found that a 3 step cleaning process gets all the lose resin off. I use a pickle bin first to rinse it right from the printer to get the heavy stuff off. I swish it in basket for 10 seconds or so. I then remove the supports and put in the ultrasonic cleaner and run that for 4 minutes. I change the water and run again for another 4 minutes. After that I let air dry and then cure when fully dry. That process took some trial and error. My first prints I just washed in the pickle jar and was getting a heavy white powdery stuff on the print. Did some googling and determined I wasn't cleaning enough. I then used the ultrasonic and it got better but not perfect. That is when I did the second wash with clean water and then fully air dried the pieces before curing and now I get perfect prints with no powdery stuff on the outside. I also don't have to do a lot of manual scrubbing that I don't have time for. I figure the cost of the ultrasonic cleaner is definitely offset by the fact that I don't need any isopropyl alcohol at all. Which is good because that stuff stinks up my shop when I use it. Speaking of odors, the resin does have a slight odor. You can smell it and it has a distinct odor, but I don't think it is strong at all and so far has not been a problem which is good because I can be sensitive to odors. With the lid closed on my printer and the bottle closed, I don't smell anything. Only when pouring new stuff in the vat do I smell something and then it quickly dissipates.

So my comments are regarding the Grey Water Washable resin. I have genuinely enjoyed using this resin once I made some adjustments. I am using an Elegoo Mars Pro so my settings will be different if you are using a different printer including the regular Elegoo Mars. Manufacturer settings are posted on the Elegoo Mars FB group so check there as it varies between all the Resin types. A couple pointers for working with this Resin... 1. Smell is acceptable. Not overbearing although there is a slight odor to it. I am printing in the garage so it doesn't bother me but I would not advise using this in a close room with limited ventilation despite the lower smell. 2. Prints will come out a little on the brittle side so you may want to opt for something more sturdy like ABS-like resin. There are ways to mitigate this, specifically lowering your layer times (I'm using 7s) and post processing cure times. I have found for miniatures they really only need about 15 seconds of curing on my Anycubic Wash and Cure Station. Larger prints will probably need more time but not much longer in my opinion. This will improve the brittleness. NEVER cure your prints in water with this resin as this will lead to significant brittleness and instability. 3. Washing the prints with water is great but I still suggest using a dedicated cleaner and soft bristle toothbrush to really get out the residual resin that wants to stay in the recesses. I use mean green spray after giving the prints a good rinse and scrub with the toothbrush all the surfaces focusing on the recesses and areas of want to preserve detail. 4. I have had occasional adhesion issues to the plate. This has been variably as I've had instances were it adhered too well to the build plate (a common issue with Elegoo Mars Pro). This may be unrelated to the resin and more likely due to other factors such as temperature of the resin and printer characteristics. I reduced my bottom layer exposure from 60s to 45s and that has helped with getting the prints off easily but I have had infrequent failure (not adhering to build plate) of small parts I printed along the edge. I have mitigated this by trying to share the base of the supports with larger pieces. 5. Overall very happy with this resin especially given shortage of IPA.

Im new to printing. Got a Saturn 16k printer and got this 8k resin. I have had NO failures. I have been printing almost every day since I got the printer and everything is turning out amazing. Printing Warhammer proxies and I couldnt be happier. The ONLY downside is that my grey pile of shame is growing faster now.

For my needs, this is a great resin. It is a little brittle, but I print rather thick. The grey is a solid color and quite opaque. The black is a bit transparent, but I pain most of my prints, so no problem there. Much better value than having to maintain alcohol washes.

This is a fantastic water-washable resin with excellent detail observable, easy cleaning process and great price. I had tried another water-washable resin brand before but this blew it out of the water. Excellent results! I haven't experienced any cracking or warping of prints outside of one item I accidentally left submerged in water overnight - so don't do that. Other than that, I have found that curing them as soon as you can after washing is the best course of action to ensure that it doesn't become soft and lose its shape.
