Every dog should have one. This is the best harness on the market. It has the front chest clip for the lead, so the dog is unable to pull when being walked without it spinning them around the opposite direction. Taking my girls outside has never been easy, but these harnesses literally changed my life! The canvas fabric is well made and durable, holds up over time, and looks great. Very adjustable, can make it fit different neck and body girths easily. Seems to be comfortable enough for them too, we don’t even take them off most days. Also has a great handle on the back for when someone knocks at the door and you need to hold your viscous attack anima back so they don’t drown your visitor in slobbery kisses.

The Tactical Dog Harness by Auroth is absolutely fantastic for impatient/easily excitable dogs who pull. It is definitely true to size; The large fits snug, but not strangling, around my dog's (~35") ribs at its loosest setting. If your pup's neck and rib measurements fall between two different sizes, I would recommend going with the size matching their rib measurement. The front (atleast on my boy) sits farther back and just before his shoulders, as opposed to higher up on the neckline where a collar would sit. The harness itself is pretty lightweight for its structure. The chest and back pieces are padded for comfort, and seem to be sturdy and well-constructed. There are metal leash attachments on the chest and back, and I like having the option to choose where to put the leash depending on my boy's behavior that day. It has a reflective outline on the chest and back pieces, as well as reflective thread stitched into the straps for extra visibility during evening walks. Overall, this harness is simple and easy to slip on. My boy tends to be a bit impatient when getting ready for his walks, and the whole ordeal goes much faster with this easy-to-maneuver harness. The buckles seem sturdy, and they easily snap into place. I like that it comes with spaces to attach velcro patches on the back, which you can use to display "Service Dog" or "Do not pet" patches should it be necessary. The harness comes with two adorable "Best Friend" patches, but I opted to use a different set. It also has a small contact info card, which slips into a clear pocket on the back piece. I truly believe the shape of the harness plays a significant role in how much you'll feel your dog pull, and I don't have any complaints so far; My Apollo doesn't simply pull forward or jump upward, he lunges/flies toward whatever captures his interest. The tugging has definitely improved since making the switch to this harness. If you happen to have an easily excitable dog who pulls like no tomorrow, attaching the leash to their chest should remedy the situation a bit! I highly recommend this harness to anyone; especially if you have a large, impatient/easily excitable dog who tends to walk you. Our Cane Corso just turned 2 in January of this year. It has been now a year since we first got this harness and it has held up pretty well! He's a runner so we always have it on him during the day, theres definitely some wear and tear but all in all pretty decent.

My dog loves this harness. Fits great, looks good, sturdy build. I have a 76 lb Belgian Malinois and the XL is perfect. He’s very relaxed wearing it.

buy it! very well made. size small was perfect for my dog. measure your dog like they say and you cant go wrong. buckles are very sturdy. Velcro is great. it glows in the dark around the edges. it comes with 2 best friend patches and two name tags that fit perfectly in a custom made pocket. very happy and impressed. very easy to slip over the neck. color is spot on. hook points are metal and sturdy. just loved the product, so I'm leaving a review.

I’m really happy with this harness. I ordered the XL for my 90 lb Labradoodle and the fit is excellent. It feels secure without being restrictive, and the adjustable straps make it easy to dial in the right fit. The harness is sturdy and well constructed, with strong stitching and durable materials that hold up well during walks. The front clip helps reduce pulling, and the top handle is useful for extra control when needed. I also appreciate the reflective details for visibility. Very good Harness. It protects my dog's back spine and the neck when my dog pulls hard. I did not know how important it was for a harness to be designed for protecting the dog's back spine and the neck especially for hard pulling dogs, until one morning my dog refused to come down the stairs. I tried helping him by embracing him from his chest and belly to pick him up and he broke up crying in pain. When my Veterinary examined my dog she found out my dog had a neck sprain. My Vet ran several neck and back spine X-rays and discovered signs from back spine inflammation. The vet put my dog on three medications Prednisone, Gabapentin, and Methocarbomol and recommended no walks for at least two weeks. The bill was $832.04. This issue had never happened in many years until six months ago when I switched from this type of harness to another type that had only one strap that runs around the chest (The ShawnCo). Even when my dog is a Beagle, he is a very strong and stubborn puller. Other five stars harness brands (In my opinion) that I used in the past and that I would recommend too are the Phoepet, The Embark Adventure, The Winsee, and the Rabbitgoo. Another recommendation, for dogs like mine with short legs that can’t get up on their own into the car, be gentle when using the “Control Handle” in the back of any harness and don’t ever use it alone to pull your dog up into the car. If you have to, be very gentle and also use your arms around your dog chest.

Appears durable and comfortable for my dog (14kg Maltese). Easy strap adjustment that maintains settings. I recommend including instructions on installing the elastic bungee tie. I wasn't sure the best way to weave through the webbing.
