Chihuahua's

This is the only stuff that my girls can use, it is topical plus 1 of mine does not even weigh a pound. I tried the spot on and all 6 of them had a reaction. Plus the fact that it keeps mosquitoes is great. I have tried the other brands. I use half on 2 of my Chi's because they are small. Anyway. Try it for yourselves. It works great.

Great product for small dogs and excellent value!

Wow! This stuff is great ! My 20 year old chihuahua used to get the crawly feeling from advantage someone suggested this years ago and it works without the creepy crawly feeling for my pet. I thought i was buying one month and when it arrived I saw I bought 6 months! Best price ever arrived on time and I am very happy!

Works on my dogs, even sensitive skin dogs and easy on my geriatric dogs too!

This flea treatment has been my family lifesaver. This year (2015) has been a tough year with the fleas growing more and more resistant to the flea pesticides used by our pets.I have moved away from Advan***x, and the other most popular ones, that cost an arm and a leg... Because I believe they have watered down their formula. Since Advan***x and the others are so expensive and don't work very well anymore I decided to try some other products. This one seems to do really well at getting the fleas, ticks and their eggs. I have also started using the BioSpot Active Care Shampoo, Yard treatment, and household spray (for my dogs bedding). The shampoo is wonderful, and gentle on their skin. The products all together compliment one another.**I don't know how long the serum lasts on the dogs, because we wash our dogs weekly or every two weeks at the latest. However, the BioSpot products have gotten my attention, and the prices are fair and reasonable.I am a regular consumer, not given product to test, (used my own hard earned dollars to buy and try them) and do not work for or belong to a company associated with these products.

Wonder why it's not working?? EXPIRED Product!! Per manufacturer!! Product works when not expired.

PLEASE BEWARE of the Seller "My Quick Buy" - I can't attest for any other seller, but I also know Seller's can easily change names and storefronts, while still maintaining stock!! So please be careful - for your furbaby's sake!!Ever wonder why the product isn't working?? My guess is that it's expired!!I bought 2 of the same products (small dog) - so this is NOT a bad luck of the draw or coincidence.*FACT*: BOTH were expired. Per the manufacturer, the Lot #s indicated they were manufactured in 2014 and it only has a 2 year shelf life.2014 - is more than 5 years ago - and I'm not bad at math, I'm being generous. As for my *OPINION* - aside from the seller but about the actual product (when it's not expired) -I've used this for YEARS and it's ALWAYS worked wonders.I have a St. Bernard, German Shepard, and Pomapoo - AND I live in the deep woods in CT - home of Lyme Disease. Also, per a Tufts (top Vet medicine school) research paper, the top ingredient is actually more effective on Lyme ticks than both canine Frontline topicals. It has the same effectiveness for fleas. It's also less toxic on dogs. For me, ticks are more of a concern than fleas, so I can't attest to flea efficacy, but we've never had them - so maybe that says something. And I've had up to 8 cats at a time too - the cats drops have always worked too - however, my cats are also indoor only - so that can be a factor as well. But as a product, for us, it's always been great and helps that it is less expensive, esp with multiple animals - this is my opinion.Fact again: the label does not show an expiration date - so to be sure, you have to call the manufacturer - even their Reps have said this should be changed. But this should not excuse a poorly-managed inventory by any 3rd-party seller.Opinion: To be safe, as a responsible pet owner, you can always double-check with manufacturers for food and otc meds, esp - if there is nothing on the label. I've done this for years - it's a BIG a pain, I know. But I do it for anything that is missing a date - even for one of the meds from my vet (yes, they are aware and actually want me to tell them if there's ever an issue).Since the industry is not regulated to have dates on everything, while many companies do put info on labels, when there isn't one, we can either presume we aren't being sold old goods (if you have a reputable source), or you can double-check for your own peace of mind and the safety of our pets. (I even do it with my own supplements too - even if it's from a reputable vendor.) No date = phone call or email.Fact: When I received this item, I called the manufacturer at 1-800-234-2269. They looked up the Lot # and first thing the Rep said was "You have a big problem." Then advised me to contact Amazon and request a refund, and then went on to explain when it was manufactured, that it's only good for 2 years, etc. - a really nice and empathetic conversation.More opinion: My guess is that many of the more recent reviews that only show 1- or 2-stars are because the Seller is still selling a product that is OVER 5 YEARS OLD. No wonder why the stuff isn't working!!If it were just on ONE of my items or has a date that was just 1 year old, I "might" be able to excuse a Seller politely. But on BOTH items AND more than 5 years??!! There's no excuse!!In terms of meds, yes, some can last beyond certain dates. The FDA does have maintain the concept of "reasonable variation" when it comes to shelf live and exp dates, in terms of ingredient efficacy. True, this isn't FDA-regulation, but 3 years beyond a shelf life expectation should not be considered "reasonable" by any standard.FINAL FACT AND OPINION: On ANY consumables that have an expiry, a Seller should check or rotate stock, use LIFO, manage their inventory, and claim a loss if necessary on expired and unsold goods (cost of doing business - I speak from experience) - but they should NEVER sell it!!I don't know how Amazon can enforce this, but I think somehow they should be responsible as well. But I don't fully understand the dynamics of their 3rd-party system, so my blame is straight on the Seller.I rarely get upset (at most anything in life) and I rarely leave reviews. But I'm mad because it is so flagrant, and I hope this helps someone.I feel badly for anyone who has bought within the last few years and possibly ended up with an expired product.Like I said - I bought TWO items and BOTH were EXPIRED!!That's not likely just "bad luck".PLEASE BEWARE!!I've requested a refund and am still awaiting a reply. If the Seller refuses, I will go through Amazon and request to use the A-Z Guarantee policy.Good luck.LOTS of LOVE all the furbabies out there!!

I found the applicator to be unnecessary as I never used them before

My cat and dogs were all completely infested due to my indoor/outdoor cat not being treated. One bath in Dawn and one application each and they are gone! Going to continue monthly as this is the only flea/tick product I've ever used on them and its also the cheapest. Did not notice a difference in effectiveness with the formula change either. I was accustomed to the bio defense formula prior. I found the applicator to be unnecessary as I never used them before. I guess just like people, everything works differently for different animals.

Works well

I've been using this since the spring and am pleased with the results. I have a 10 lb Chihuahua Corgi mix. It's easy to apply, hasn't irritated her skin, and I haven't seen a flea all summer.
