Great product, MADE IN USA!
Great epoxy. It does dry VERY slow. Lots of good comments and user reviews about how temperature affects curing time, so no need to duplicate those posts. Read the instructions. So far I've used it to fill a chip in my sandstone counter top (good color match), to fill holes and patch broken mortar in a brick wall (hidden so the grey color was irrelevant) and to fix some plastic parts that CA (super glue) simply would not adhere to. And to hold it in place while it cured, I used a clothes pin over a piece of wax paper. I can confirm PC-7 does not stick to wax paper.but this stuff does seem to stick to just about everything else.I did not remove any stars from this product review, but did want to mention that Amazon's packaging was completely inadequate. A pound of epoxy, in plastic containers, should not be shipped in a manila envelope! Check your containers carefully before cutting the shrink wrap plastic that holds the two containers together. One of my plastic lids got shattered into pieces during shipping.

Best stuff on the planet for epoxy
My wife ran into a fence post with the zero turn mower & creased the gas tank. It had a 5" split. We priced a new tank for $286.00. Ridiculous!I have been using PC7 for 50+ years. I repaired an engine head once, so i knew it was good stuff. You mix this 50-50. First i mixed enough to fill the crease. Then using water, you can smooth this out. I left it dry for 24 hours. BTW, this is a plastic tank. Then i took a coarse wire brush and roughed up an 8" square. I mixed another batch and applied, took water and bare hand to smooth it out. Left it dry another 24 hours, and now i have a permanent repair. This stuff dries like steel. I have drilled and tapped this with excellent results. Like the headline says, best epoxy on the planet. Much better than JB weld....

Amazing epoxy!
This stuff is amazing! It's a little tricky to work with since it mixes to the consistency of a super sticky peanut butter but it dries to a hard, permanent repair. I used this to fill in several holes in a leather helmet, one of them being about 4 square inches (with a hard plastic backer). After sanding the dried epoxy you can't even tell the hole was there except for the different color. The cured epoxy is sandable but it takes work. I ended up using an air powered angle grinder with a sanding disk to take the bulk of the dried epoxy off then finished with hand sanding. I am very pleased with this epoxy and have found a replacement for JB Weld for most repairs. The one downside to this product is the cure time, it's temperature dependent and can take up to a couple days to fully harden so it's not really the go to epoxy for a quick job.The best part is that for the price of two JB Weld epoxy kits you can get this kit and have 20 times the amount of product!

This is my "go to" for a really permanent fix.
This is my "go to" for a really permanent fix. The epoxy is a bit hard and is like a putty so I can use it when things are not flat or horizontal. I often cover it with scotch tape for a smoother finish and If I want to sand it and paint it. I have repaired pieces of broken plastic or metal parts of appliances or things. It hardens really hard, is water proof & can be sanded and painted and will last almost forever. I usually buy it in two "film cans" but am happy to find this larger size. I keep 2 small wooded Popsicle sticks in each part to dig out some. It is a 50/50 mixture and a bit stiff, but is not fussy about proportions. Judge the mixture by color and it has a reasonable work time and a several hour set time. It does not sag much but support is beneficial. A layer of tape allows you to smooth and mold it to shape.

Like JB weld, in bulk
The drip rail on my truck was rusting and starting to split, letting water get inside. The correct repair is to "scalp" the truck and replace the roof. Not happening.I was looking for JB weld, which is an excellent 2 part epoxy, but couldn't find it in the quantity my project required.I found this stuff, cleared up the drip rail with a wire wheel and applied PC 7 in the crevasse with a gloved finger. A bit of sanding, primer and paint, no leaks!

Best all-around use
I first used this product, in 1974, to patch a pinhole in a gas tank. Working time is good and strength is too. About eight years ago, I used it to secure anchors in a concrete floor, for a 6000 pound rated, two post lift. This product, in the working stage, can be smoothed with a wet finger or washed off with plain water. It lasts for years in the containers. That's why I bought the one pound size. I highly recommend it.

I've been burned twice by this stuff...save your money and buy JB Weld
I tried this a few years back and it seemed to work fine. Used it maybe...3 times. Forgot about it cause I didn't need to use it again. In April I needed it and opened the bottles...both were hard as a rock. Sealed containers to. I logged into my account here a saw I bought it around 2014 or 2015. I thought.."eh...maybe it has a shelf life". Ordered some more in April of this year...sat on it until today. Opened up the bottles...suprisingly...almost hard as a rock. Wow. It would take more than a tongue depressor to even get it out of the bottles. Broke one trying. I finally got equal amounts onto some cardboard to mix...what a joke. It's like trying to stir almost hardened cement. It won't mix. This was actually a good experience. I learned to quit trying to save a few bucks and just buy the stuff that this brand imitates...JB WeldFor reference...I found 2 old tubes of JB Weld in the tool room in a drawer. Found out I got em around 10 years ago. Guess what?...Still works. Tra La La

it does have good working life
prepare EVERYTHING before starting to mix it. it does have good working life, but you had better be done with placement, removal of any excess and minor smoothing before it begins to harden, once it gets tacky, you're done. just walk away and go back with sand paper tomorrow.Oh and you need to rasp it, then hand sand it. don't use a palm sander. the friction heat is enough to melt the epoxy and it gumms up the paper instantly.

Great slow set epoxy
Perfect where you need to have a slow set epoxy. It is thick and leaves plenty of time to get the joint just right. Spend some time warming the contents so that they are easier to mix. Be patient and let it set for up to 48 hours and it does harden off and can be sanded back. I used too much in the end, the pots go a long way with a 50:50 mix. It dries to a neutral grey.

Tough stuff
A great all-rounder. Be sure to mix thoroughly, then mix again to ensure full cartelization. Once it sets, the material becomes rock hard, taking all mould features faithfully.
