i have a pmp2000 that has 800 watts peak running 2 15" speakers. do i need a power amp to run these?

This sub is passive so yes it's needs an amp. It's has an rms around 400 to 450 and is 8 ohms so when looking at and amp, make sure to check the rating for 8 ohms because they advertise power ratings according to 4ohms
