Very impressed.
Works great. Had a Torx head screw on my mower engine that was seized and the head stripped. Cut a slit in it with a Dremel and tried to remove with a large flat head Craftsman screwdriver, and the screwdriver actually bent. I wanted an extractor that wouldn't break with such a stubborn screw, and after researching reviews on line, this Topec set was the best all around for the money. This extractor set got the screw out with little effort, and saved me $200. So glad that I bought these as I'm sure that I will eventually have a need for them again.

Works great!
Wow I spent a week buying and trying different extractors because of an Allen bolt was rounded out. I found this one from project farm YouTube channel. And it took less than a minute and came right out. Highly recommended. Returning the rest.

Complete kit with a nice storage case
Multiple sizes of left handed drill bits plus a matching range of extractors. I used it this morning for the first time to remove 4 rusted steel bolts that had been in for about 10 years and wouldn’t budge. I tried the smallest drill bit first and it snapped. Tried the next two larger sizes and they didn’t seem to cut into the screw very well. I finally gave up and took a hammer and a chisel and removed the screw head. I am hoping to have better luck next time.

1/2" shanks on the extractor make them very durable!
The 1/2" shanks make it very strong, especially when removing a small screw or bolt. Extractors that are the diameter of a small screw of bolt can snap off and the problem then becomes much more difficult.

Broke on my first use.
I seldom write 1 star reviews. Matter of fact I can’t remember the last time I did so. Just hoping this review will help others. I bought this kit because I needed to extract a bolt that snapped off in a steering knuckle. Drilled it out as big as possible without compromising the walls. These extractors punched in very easily. Just a couple quick light taps with the handle of a screwdriver and it was secure. I started to crank it counter clockwise and it bit into the bolt very nicely. I was impressed up to this point. I then used a rachet and started the precedure and felt in my hand a slight twist and bam, extractor broke off. This was just done with a rachet, by hand. I wonder if an impact wrench would have been better? Maybe not. I can understand if I was using an extension bar, but wasn’t. As you all know, once an extractor is broken off in a bolt, the problem just got 10 times worse. I ended up just buying a new steering rack and swapping that. So now I’m stuck with an extractor set with one broken size. I suppose the others will be put to use when the time comes, but I’d be hesitant to even use these. So just a heads up, if the bolt you’re working on isn’t seized (mine was yes, but I had PB Blaster soaked it overnight and also used torch and candle wax on it), then maybe these will work. But if it’s seized, spend the extra money on a more trust worthy product. It’ll save you extra headache. Good luck!

Excellent compact screw extractor that lasts.
I have purchased multiple Topec Extractor sets since February 25, 2021. I have the 5-Piece Heavy Duty Nut Bolt Remover set, 18-Piece Stripped Bolt Extractor Kit, 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set, 13pc 2-in-1 Screw Extractor Set and a second 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set. These have been being used daily in my two shops without fail. The material is of high quality and have never once had a tool fail or break during use. All the sets come in a nice sturdy case that keeps all pieces in order. I have had some of my workers loose or misplace a few pieces from the sets but after reaching out to Topec, they provided a way to get me the replacement pieces which was great. Overall, great quality tools at very good prices that will do exactly as described, if you know what you are doing and how to do it!

Highly rated
When you need them, you need them. Highly rated on a YouTube tool testing channel. Bought this for one specific project and it worked. Simple and effective extractor set for broken bolts. Get a set of cobalt drill bits and your set. Highly recommended for anyone who works on their vehicles. You won't regret having this set on hand.

Excellent if used methodically (Removal of snapped locking wheel bolt)
Successfully removed two snapped locking wheel bolts from a Proace Verso (Peugeot/Citroen style locking bolts). Used the 3/8" with a hole drilled in each using a 10mm cobalt drill bit. The locking bolts had been over torqued and with the cold weather it looks like the tapered part had seized solid. Heated the head of the bolt with hot air gun at 500c for 5 mins each. Also used a torque wrench to remove so I could avoid snapping the extractor. The front wheel required 130nm of torque to remove (tightening spec for these is 100nm). I used a 16mm deep socket (not a 3/8" in square drive) as this gives a stronger interface around the extractor. If you are methodical and take your time and don't rush, these are extremely durable and will get you out of a fix. People who have left bad reviews seem to have issue with the smaller (weaker) extractors in the set - just needs some common sense and research to get excellent results. Saved me £80 in getting a specialist to do the job at least.

Good quality
Excellent tool kit that works well. I use these on a daily basis, the quality is very good and the set is a comprehensive collection of most sizes of damaged threads you’ll find on automotive applications. I use these tools on a daily basis, don’t need imperial size drill bits has some have said, just use the equivalent or closest match metric drill. They fit all threads not just imperial threads! It’s the tool that removes the broken threads or seized bolts in the hole you’ve drilled, also you don’t need a left handed drill bit as I have seen in some reviews, made me laugh really. If you can’t remove the broken bolt or screw with this set you’re more than likely not using the tool correctly. All in all a good quality product at a reasonable price.
