This was in a great purchase I broke the smaller version of this same laptop and I was hoping to get this one without having to do a whole lot of different things but once I signed in and logged in everything from the smaller version popped up on this laptop from my screensaver to my screenshots to my downloaded files everything just popped up as if it was just transferred over

I bought four of these recently for clients and family members. All set up in flash. None of the nonsense and hoops you have to jump though with Windows these day. Wish they had a 128G SSD but just plugged in a Samsung 128G micro SD and problem solved. It would also be nice if it had 2 USB 3.0s instead of one but that was easy enough to fix as well. I have really come to appreciate Chrome OS over the last couple of years. I not only recommend to clients but I have moved my personal data needs to it as well. My Windows 10 computer has been relegated to some legacy stuff I occasionally need to access.

Great screen size and great performance is the headline for this Chromebook. This is used mainly for streaming content. At this it exceeds all expectations. It doesn't seem to get overly warm and the battery life has been above average to average, with a larger screen I expected this. This isn't touchscreen and is not a reversible keyboard but screen size was paramount here not tablet ability. It's quick and responsive, I'll admit I'm still a PC user and as such I keep trying to right and left click on the touch pad and that's a no go as it's single button so no copy and paste from the touchpad which is unfortunate for me as I prefer that to key combos. Regardless of this small niggle everything else is good and I'm expecting to get a good few years out of this then repurpose it after that! Having to do again I think I'd opt for touchscreen and a reversible keyboard. But for what this is, it's a great product. The screen is quite thin so be careful!

The only problem i found with this computer windows based programs are not on here. There is a learning curve but its a minor glitch word an all that can operate on it.

After a lifetime of window popups, slow computer startups, endless updates, etc, I have changed to Chromebook and it is amazing. If in sleep mode, once awake it takes about 3 seconds to be at google. If turning on the chromebook, I would say maybe 12-15 seconds to be at browser. I love my apps and they are all here (Chromebook basically runs on apps). My advice--do not be afraid of something new. Easy to set up, easy to use, super fast to move around in it. It is like my computer went on a diet and lost 50 pounds.

I loved my Acer chromebook 14 (screen a little to small but other than that...lost it at an airport so....) This 15.6" screen is definitely bigger. Worth it. But: A. screen display is not as bright or clear/sharp as my old chromebook, noticeably so. B. Thin kinda flimsy body. Not a problem except that When I recline in bed with laptop on my chest/ribs (with legs up crossed), when I breath up it clicks the mouse button. Not particularly solid. Probably not a problem except I recline a lot. C. The charger it comes with (usb-c) will only charge it when it's shut down. So I can't use it and keep it charged at the same time. "Low-power charger connected Your Chromebook may not charge while it is turned on" WTF did they send me a low power charger cord? So I expect a short lifespan. But hey, $300. Plenty serviceable.

This laptop is exactly what we needed for our small business. Fast, great keyboard, clear screen. not hard on the eyes for all day use. You will have to purchase a usb adapter for about $10 USD if you run more than one usb accessory

This computer works great for email use and is EXCELLENT for internet browsing. However, I have not been able to effectively use it for much else. In fact, something as simple as downloading photos from your iPhone to this computer is apparently impossible. I tried for hours, followed instructions found online, and ultimately read some online articles stating that you can't download photos from an iPhone to a chromebook. If this is actually false....congratulations to Samsung and Chrome for making it extremely difficult.....just like everything else on this computer besides email and internet. I bought it to work from home but had so many problems that I took it to work to seek guidance from my IT people who laughed at the thought of me trying to use this for work. Excellent for internet...it works better than any other computer I have owned for this function.......EXCEPT that the browser is incompatible at times. 1 star for any other function that you easily do on your laptop but will struggle like heck to do with a Chromebook. 1 star for sometimes inexplicably turning off and being very difficult to turn back on. 1 star for only having one standard USB port. Have fun managing with only one USB. 1 star for Chrome problems: No cut and paste (you have to use control c=control v--what a hassle, Spell check rarely works, lots of other quircks. Don't buy a chromebook. Does not support spell check. (as you can see in this submission). Words are underlined in red but they won't correct if you click them nothing happens. JUNK. UPDATE: Finally threw it in the trash where it belongs. Such an erratic computer. Shuts off for no reason. Difficult to restart. Hit and miss regarding when it will work or not. Internet browsing was unstable.....it would open some sites and not others.
