Replacement LCD Display Compatible with Mercedes C-class W203 Instrument Cluster Pixel Repair

Save yourself a lot of grief and purchase the dash removal tools! Also... follow the instructions EXACTLY. I didn't and cost myself some time when the 'needles' came off and I had to reinstall them... Twice!!!... because I had to install and test to see that the needle wasn't in the exact position to read correctly on the speedo as compared to the digital readout. With those tools you can have that dash module out in under 1 minute.As for the LCD Screen itself: It worked PERFECTLY and it is now bright... no programming needed.

It was easy to replace the OEM unit with this display. It would be a 5 star review if the display were a little brighter. Much better than a mostly dead OEM unit but it is not easily readable when the sun is out. Distracting.

Such a simple and inexpensive fix for a really dumb problem. I love my C32 and this makes driving it nicer actually because I now can see the coolant temp clearly at all times as well as the outside temp. It sucks not seeing those things!!Easily worth twice as much as it costs!

You can see from the pictures, this display made a significant improvement in my driving information experience. Installing it was surprisingly easy, and I highly recommend this over spending $3000-&4000 on a new cluster, which is what Mercedes-Benz wants to sell you. Item was shipped within a couple hours of ordering, and arrived promptly. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended.

Install was easy but after install all the pixels just lit. The faded one at least still gave information. This was a waste of money.

Works good but not too bright. I was expecting get the VDO brand "Germany version" but I did get something else. Is already installed in the car no worthy the hassle get it removed and get the VDO branded.

My old LCD was so faded, that I could only read it when parked in a dark garage. So I ordered this BPR replacement for my 2003 C320 Sedan, and am very happy with the results. Despite not being eligible for Prime, the shipping from German Audio Tech was super fast. I ordered on a Friday, and it was delivered almost 3000 miles away on Monday, via USPS First Class.I watched some videos on how to remove the instrument cluster, and it appeared they all had a different clip. Emailed German Audio Tech, and they replied an hour later with detailed instructions (gist: press the plug in, white plastic lever swings up). Once, I removed the cluster, installing the replacement LCD took about 5 minutes.
