It's a must to have in your camera bag. I used it in my 2023 Solar Eclipse trip in Utah. Check out the attached picture.

Is there a fifty foot release cable available for it?
I like wildlife photography and one of my favorite things is to collect pictures of the critters that visit my backyard feeders. This involves setting my camera up on a tripod (I have a Nikon D7100) and using a long shutter release cable or a timer to trigger the shutter. Unfortunately, it is difficult to photograph shy critters with this method. I did find this device to be wickedly fun and versatile to use. You can set it up as a timed release. Wait X seconds and fire; you can set up a timed sequence. Fire every X Seconds for X number of shots. There are other modes as well. I actually love this thing. I ended up setting it up to fire every one minute for 50 cycles. I then set my camera up to fire five bracketed shots on each of those cycles. So after 50 minutes, I had 250 exposures. I pre-focused on a spot near a pile of black oil sunflower seeds and left the rest up to chance. I told this entire story to say this. I love the versatility of this device and only wish I had a shutter release cable 50 feet long so that I could sit in my garage, looking out the door and only shoot when a little feathered model is taking a pose.

It does a good job of doing what it is supposed to do when it is supposed to do it...
The media could not be loaded. It does a good job of doing what it is supposed to do when it is supposed to do it...No complaints except that it does not come with any batteries and/or a battery charger. It is plastic and not metal so it isn't as durable as compared to if it was made of metal. It does what it needs to do and it is basically very easy to use.It only works with Nikon cameras and as such is not compatible with other brand names of cameras. If you want to be in the picture or do extended exposures without shaking the camera this is the Nikon compatible accessory you will want to have in your camera gear bag.Good day & God Bless...Randall M. I should have gotten one a long time ago.
This remote shutter release integrated with my Nikon D3200 perfectly. I was worried since it's the kind of camera where you press the shutter release halfway to focus, then press all the way to take the picture, but there were no issues at all.The remote comes with an adapter that fits the last (fourth) port in the connection panel of my Nikon. It's intuitive to set up. Takes two AAA batteries (not included). You can press the middle button to release the shutter immediately, or set the timer, then press "start timer" to start counting down. I set it to take a picture at 30 seconds, then another every ten seconds until there were five pictures. So much flexibility. This would be great for self- and family- photos since it gives you way more options than the camera's self-timer.You can also set it for long exposures, etc. The great benefit for that one is no camera shake during the exposure, since you are not messing with anything on the camera body to take the exposure.I think this is a great deal. Wish I'd gotten one years ago! Five stars.

Need granularity in control of your camera timer? Look no further...
This is the item that does more to control the granularity than most native camera times allow for. If you're into astral photography, interesting time lapse of landscapes, areas or sea/sky - you'll appreciate the flexibility this device provides you with. Or perhaps you just need a remote trigger to reduce shake and provide a crisp image each and every time you take a picture of your subject - this will be a 'go-to' tool in your tool bag.It does not come with batteries (you will need 2 - 'AAA' batteries). It does come with a detailed user manual, and it was easy to set up and use. This model fit our Nikon camera as anticipated (if you have another brand of camera, you will want to order the correct item to interface with your camera). This item did what it claimed to do, and did what it was designed to do with no problems. I'd recommend!
