Works well on a strop
I got this to use with my Sharper Pebble sharpener strop. Easy to use and works well. Makes a nice clean edge on my chisels and is easy to use.

Right size
This is a great rouge stick !! Great size, not sticky, really easy to use . Overall great functionality for a small polishing wheel.

Works well
A little pricey but should last for quite a while. Seems the best way to apply is to warm your strop with a heat gun and then apply. Worked well at putting a razor edge on my carving tools.

Effective for sharpening and the quantity will satisfy most people and use.
These work really well, I have used them compared to other emulsions for sharpening and these are still really good compared to them even. Hair popping sharp level easily( a step above hair shaving for sure). Great value for how much you get and how long it last, will buy again soon.

Wow
This is one of the best green compounds I've come across. I used a fine grain veg tan leather strop. Application was very easy these are hard but at the same time have no trouble releasing compound and goes on like a hard crayon. I was able to get it a little more even by covering the surface like a crayon and then adding a few drops of three and one oil to the strap and buffing it into the strap with my finger. This compound will disperse through that oil very very evenly giving you uniform coverage and the three in one oil evaporates leaving you with a homogeneous bonded application of compound. Even though my kitchen knives are rated at 63 Rockwell which is very very hard; this compound has absolutely zero trouble removing material and left my blades not only polished; but with a scalpal like Edge in very little time.

Great Product for the Daily Woodworker
What can I say? This is a great product at a decent price. It goes on smooth and brings my chisels edges to a razor-sharp mirrored finish. One bar seems to last me forever, even using it almost daily. Just remember to make a specific spot for it near your strop, because if your shop is anything like mine it can be easily lost. I actually keep mine in a plastic tube on a cord hanging behind the strop (haven't lost one since).

If you actually need 10,000+ grit compound…. Here’s a good one
Puts the final touches on a sushi knife, razors, or fine woodworking tool. Don’t buy this thinking it will fix a chip or a Meaning ful till in the edge, this is ultra fine and only really useful for those that have other abrasives to take their edges up to about 10k grit before this. Not for beginners since they won’t understand how subtle this compound is but an excellent tool for an expert or aspiring expert sharpener that has a large array of options already. Small bar, but again, it’s not for large jobs so you don’t need a lot and all fine grit abrasives are more than their coarse counterparts on average. I would suggest DLT trading for 6000 and 12000 grit before this if you are looking for coarser stuff that still gives you an edge you can easily shave with. For 3000 grit DLT or beavercraft are excellent.
