Although I am not using them for food I can see no reason why they should not be food safe. They are designed for use in laboratories, where cross contamination is highly undesirable. Of course they must be washed well beteeen use, just like plastic basins. I have not tried them in a dish washer.

A good set of beakers for the price. I use these for measuring and pouring fragrance oils when candle making and they are perfect for that.

Robust measures for use in garden shed

I already have glass measuring cylinders and beakers but considered them too fragile for use measuring liquids in the garden shed. So I bought these plastic ones, which are ideal. I'll probably use them elsewhere as well.
