Not as small as it seems
The important thing to know about this loaf pan is a standard loaf pan in the US is about 1.25lbs (from what I see, I'm no pro). This is a 1lb pan so it's smaller for sure but only by 20%. I first thought this pan was way too small until I took out a Whole Foods Brioche loaf and found it fit inside perfectly. Function wise this is a good pan. I docked a point on sturdiness as the lid doesn't lock in place and can slide around when moving the pan. It's a minor annoyance but not a deal breaker. Thanks to the lid you can easily proof in the pan. My honey wheat loaf came out well baked with a great crust. My advice is if you want to bake bread and don't find yourself going through supermarket loaves in two days, this is a perfectly good pan. Otherwise I'd consider a lidless 1.25 lb pan.

It's a winner!!!
The pan is perfect. I have been looking for something like this for a long time and needed something for sourdough sandwich bread. I needed high sides and loved having a top for it. Philip in a "Culinary Exploration" video (<https://www.culinaryexploration.eu/blog/the-fail-safe>) on YouTube introduced me to it, and commented on it being an excellent bread pan. So thankful that he did. It's a winner!!! To be able to bake bread and not to have to use parchment to keep the dough from sticking to the pan was wonderful. It came out perfectly! I plan to get another one!

Good if you are just making yeast bread (but not pound cake / banana bread etc.)
I will give this pan 3.5/5 actually. I purchased this pan because my husband likes home made sandwich loaf. I have made sandwich bread with this pan about 4-5 times now. The bread is easy to remove and does not stick to the pan. It does the job and I have no complaint on that part! This is a smaller bread pan, so perfect for just my husband and me. However, I was a little disappointed to spot the three holes on the bottom. I could not use this for pound cake, banana bread, or zucchini bread. (It is my fault because I did not read the description and review very well). The lid does slide off easily, but I just need to be careful when I put the bread in the oven, not a huge problem there. In all, I have no complaints baking sandwich loaf with this pan. However, I feel like it is not worth the price. Some other pans with similar price are more versatile and may be better quality.

Pain Pan
I bought this Pullman loaf pan thinking it was just a pan. You know, something that would hold dough until it magically turned into bread. But no. This pan has attitude. It makes perfect, square, bakery-level loaves that look like they should be displayed in a Parisian café instead of my messy kitchen. My bread now has such straight edges and flawless corners that I feel judged every time I cut into it with my lopsided butter knife. It’s ridiculously easy to clean, which is suspicious. Most of my kitchen gadgets like to hold grudges in the form of sticky residue. Not this one. A quick rinse and it’s back to looking smug on the drying rack like, “Yeah, I did that. You’re welcome.” Maintenance? Minimal. Results? Maximum. Ego damage? Significant. I mean, my bread comes out so professional I half expect it to start asking me for a business license. If you want flawless bread and a reminder that your kitchen skills are secondary to your bakeware, buy this pan.

Very nice bread pan
I bought the 1 pound pan after coming across advice to use a Pullman pan for baking gluten free bread. I succeeded in making a gluten-free loaf that actually looks like a regular loaf of bread and really tastes good. The lid should be put on during the rising phase and the baking phase.

works well
This pan worked really well for me. Remember to put a towel underneath while it rising though. I did not and the oil I used to coat the pan leaked so it was a bit messy. The bread turned out great though!

Easy to use
I bought my first one a few months ago and was very happy with the pan. So I bought my second one. So far it is very easy to clean the pan after use and bread comes out fine easily. Someone said in their review that the lid didn’t lock on the bottom and it is true. The lid keeps sliding off in the storage. But I usually make non-Pullman type bread so for baking, this is not a big problem, at least for me.

Good sturdy tin
Good sized bread tin that bakes well. Would still recommend oiling the tin when baking.

Teig quillt trotz Deckel raus

Awesome!
Love it. The perfect shape for sandwiches. No ‘wasted’ bread. Cheese slices fit exactly perfectly on the bread. Bread slides out. Easy to clean. Getting rid of all of my other bread loaf pans and only using these. Highly recommend.
