Pretty Good for the Money
First of all keep in mind that these are cheap speakers. If you want great sound you are going to have to pay $50+ for something this small to sound great.Sound:With that out of the way, I got these and have tried them on an old eMachine and my new MacBook Pro. They sound pretty good on both and are definitely louder than the built in speakers. We have watched DVDs on our computers and played games to test the sound, no problems.Function:Its pretty easy to set up and they volume knob on the front of the right speaker is really useful.Build:The build is definitely all plastic. The shiny disc on the speaker is not chrome but shiny plastic. The grey stand/legs are plastic. I only point that out because form the picture I couldn't tell if any of it was metal, they definitely are not.Looks:I got it to match my Macbook Pro. Because they are all plastic they don't quite match its aluminum body but its close enough.Final:For $17 you can't beat them.

Good small pair of speakers
Pros: + Compact size of speakers+ Can stand up vertical or lay horizontal+ Simple, easy to use, plug in and play+ Good sound for a small room (eg. home office or bedroom)+ Price & valueCons: - Bass is not great- After 6 months the sound quality worsenedThese speakers are a good value buy, not something to use if you want to impress your friends or have a party. The loudness is what you would expect from speakers of this size. I am satisfied with my purchase of these I just wish the sound didn't become a little static after 6 months of use.Overall, I would not recommend these to others to buy, especially if you are worried about turning them up too high.

Great Sound for the first month and after that they are pretty much junk.
This is my first review of all the products I've purchased in Amazon. When i first got these speakers i was really happy because i have spent a lot of money on Headsets and Surround Sound gaming appliances to connect them but when i'm working or just watching videos on the Internet i didn't want to have a 7.1 Surround Sound Headset/system on my head on a 80°F day (like every day were i live). The sound of these is amazing, crystal clear, but from last week to today, only a month and a half of hardly even using them, i've been experiencing, and i'm not being dramatic, the terrifying decay to uselessness of these speakers; apparently the life span of the internal amplifier electronics can be compared to that of the common green bottle fly.The problem is that even the slightest signal above "barely-hearing" level just saturates the electronics and even the power indicator LED goes off.I'm very disappointed of this particular Logitech's product and it's clearly not a just defect, more like a design flaw judging from the other reviews i ignored when i purchased it.

These sound pretty good for ~$20 speakers.
Don't expect a subwoofer, or any bass frequencies below 80Hz to be heard at all, for that matter. These do, however, provide a nice, swell combination of everything else. I surely don't regret paying 12 bucks for these. However, if you can buy the Creative A250 system for the same price, absolutely try to shoot for that one instead because the A250 knocks the LS11 as well as my Logitech z323s out of the park.Using an overall EQ, one can get an EXCELLENT sound from these. In fact, here's my own EQ adjustment I use to correct the sound of these speakers. If you're using these with a Windows PC, your audio control panel might have an overall EQ of its own that you can use these values with when listening through these speakers:80 0;100 0;125 -2.2;160 -7.4;200 -2.3;250 -0.1;315 -0.9;400 -1.6;500 -3.1;630 -4.8;800 -4.2;1000 -3.1;1250 -6.4;1600 -4.7;2000 -7.1;2500 -6.4;3150 -8.7;4000 -4.7;5000 -4.2;6300 -8.3;8000 -9.7;10000 -9;12500 -6.1;16000 -2.5;20000 0
